when I have the UKM academy map installed in my base folder it messed up alot of my other maps, notably taking most textures out leaving that grey default texture all over the map which is yuck, and it also causes the FFA_sarlacc1 map to give me a " missing sound set" error. on a sidenote, why does the FFA carbon freeze map( from jk2) give me that missing sound set error also? ( on both games) thanks for answers to either of these

'Twould be nice if you linked to UKM academy map... Yes, maps do tend to do that. Try looking in the console to see what textures are missing. After you do that, remove the offending PK3s. The soundset error happens when a map is set to play a sound at a set point, but you either do not have that sound or something is overwriting it. FFA_CarbonFreeze does not work in JA.

and the ffa sarlacc map for JA ( which i cant find the link for :()

and probably a couple more.

and Ill try what you told me thanks.

as for FFA carbon freeze It wont work in JO either

Well dont want to double post, but I don't want to make a thread just for this either but,

Seems to be giving me trouble.. in MP it makes my JA not respond and in SP if I try to access it through console it just plain out x-es out my JA.

For instance, if a texture lies in the same name as rift, and it has got the same name as a rift texture it will replace them if the pk3 loads after the assets, as it will probably do. So the textures are replaced by another map that has the same foldername and the same texturename as a base texture.
