I'm mapping a base underground on tatooine, and it includes these rock tunnels, with lights and such. But the problem is, I'm using misc_models in the tunnels, (Desert/support), and I used the physics clip on either side of the tunnel to block players from touching/going through them. Now, when I loaded the lights, the models were all covered in black, and not lit up at all. Any one know what I'm doing wrong?
The physics clip might be messing it up. If you want your models to be solid, just put; spawnflags 2 ; in the model's entity window
spawnflags 2 messes things up far more than physics clip does. You are likely to get problems if you make a solid block of physics clip around the model. Try hollowing it out. Also, try adding the model and it's associated resources into your pk3.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
Gah, ok people, the reason this happens is when you use misc_models. use misc_model_statics and youll be all set.
