So I've downloaded a few mods and I put them in to my base folder and followed all the instructions properly, but for some reason, the mods won't appear in my mods folder or anywhere in the game. Is there a file I have to delete or something I have to put in to make mods work? I'm not sure what to do.

You want them in the MODS menu? Place them in the GameData folder in a new dictionary with the name of the mod (it must contain a TXT file, that's usually contained in the mod).

That's assuming he's talking about large mods like JA+ or other similar mods that go into GameData folder, not Base. He said:

If the instructions for the mods he downloaded say they go into the Base folder, then something else could be the problem here.

Posting links to the mods in question for us to take a look would be useful. :)

Yeah good point, sorry about the lack of information. Here they are:

http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/HS_Anakin_Skywalker;70767

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Mod: 100 Mbps Fast File Download Servers

I've only installed the Anakin Skywalker skin and the Clone wars saber mod, as I'm wanting to do an evil playthrough playing as Anakin.

Also something to note, at one point when I started up my game, the mods suddenly worked, except I couldn't save anything, so I went to the files and deleted a whole bunch of useless saves since I was told I might be out of space, after which I turned off the game for a bit, went back and suddenly it wasn't working again.

That's weird. Do you have saving (or any other) problem(s) without these mods installed?

None at all.

Strange. None of these mods should cause any problems.

Obi-Wan saber hilt should appear among other saber hilts at the saber hilt selection screen (menu).

Anakin model should show up at the player model selection screen along with other (stock) models.

Clone wars saber blade mod should also work, although it might be difficult to notice the difference between the original saber blades that came with the game and the new ones since they look pretty similar, almost identical.

Do you have any other mod installed, something you haven't mentioned here?

Is your copy of the game legal or obtained in some illegal way (pirated)? Is it patched?

They're not supposed to appear in that list. That list is for mods like JA+, MB2, etc.

Majorly ninja'd. I kinda left this tab open for hours..
