Ok, I cant open multiplayer. It always either crashes my computer at the JA+ logo, or it closes. Everyone keeps saying i should uninstall and clear my base but ive got a bunch of models and mods and stuff id rather not redownload.... so is there a way to fix this without removing them or am i be spending some quality time with jk3files this weekend. thx for any help

You don't have to delete things to clear out your base folder. You can simply temporarily move mods out into a temporary storage folder until you get things sorted.

Try clearing out some NPCs. I used to have your problem and I got rid of all my npcs and made my own. So perhaps just plain too many npcs is the problem. If not that, try getting rid of JA+ then reinstalling it.

Fixed. Much better now, isn't it? :p

It would help if you'd tell us any error messages which come up when it crashes. It's very rare for the game to just go "bye!" and shut down without some kind of message as to what's gone wrong.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Yep, that sounds like what happened to me. It'd crash without an error to report. Get pakscape (if you havent already) and backup your player models somewhere. Then use pakscape and get rid of any npc that you dont use and give it a try again. npcs are in the ext_data>npc folder in a model. Keep deleting them if it doesnt work. If you get down to just a few and is still not working, then just copy your backups back into your base folder and try something else.

Only thing I can think of is to make sure JA+ was installed correctly. Also, (sorry to ask but you never know) is your system able to handle this game?

Make sure you've patched to v1.01.
