I would like to enquire, whteher I can use "sendthisfile" program instead of "yousendit" to submit a file. I mean, will you upload this mail? Because this "yousendit" doesn't work correctly in my case. And the file is quite huge. BTW, I've already sent it by "sendthisfile" and I do hope it's ok for you staff. Is it?

You can use whatever service you like, but make sure it's not too hard to use on our end or we'll get cranky... and we tend to write less-nice reviews when we're cranky ;)

But yes, any service is fine. We just list YouSendIt because it's the most popular / the most well-known.

Well, personally, I host all my files on FileFront.com anyway, because it has no time limit on downloads (or space, except no single file can be bigger than 1GB).

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Yess, I discovered that feature of sendthisfile two days ago, when I started wondering why my file isn't posted so long on jk2files. It vanishes after three days time. I've no idea what to use now to send 200mb. That stinking Yousendit have some problem with connection in my case, it disconnects after ex. an hour, and I have to start sending again. And I never succeed. Moreover, it doesn't show the speed of transfer, so I get no idea how long it might take. Anyway, how can I host my files on FileFront.com? I have to look into it.

Just head over to www.filefront.com and register an account. It doesn't cost anything (at least mine doesn't) and you get the free hosting. Although now I'm starting to wonder how FileFront can afford to run something like that, because thinking of the cost... :uhoh:

I should have known better. The answer lay so closely, but of course I had to search for some jerky "sendthisfile". May FileFront always be able to afford that cost. Thanks Kouen. And one more thing, when will I be asked to define that I want this file to be delivered to jk2files and not filefront in general? After it is uploaded? Or maybe I did something wrong already?

Actually, you still need to email the JK2Files submission address from your email account with the same details on the file. Just provide the link to the file where you hosted it when you email them. Unfortunately FileFront doesn't seem to support the ability to upload files into FilesNetwork submission folder ready for review, which is a shame because it would be a nice touch.

Yes, but I have submitted this file to FileFront before mailing JK2Files and it asked me which section I want it to go to or something like that, so I chose Jedi Academy. At the moment, the submission status is pending, but where will it go if it is eventually checked and accepted by the staff. I may be a stupid jerk, but still I would like to know where this file will be moved or posted or whatever.

I think that's for the category function, not the actual JK3Files site. However, I'm not entirely sure about that. Maybe you should ask that question in the FileFront Feedback/Questions forum, where a FileFront administrator will be able to answer it.
