server appears in local section -1 reply

I dunno if this is a problem,but when I host my server it appears in the local section with [UDP] at the end.Can anyone else see my server in the list?

It appears in Local for you, because it is.

As for UDP, I'm assuming that either you've screwed something up with your router, or it's supposed to display that when you have a router.


I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Unless the router is blocking it, yes, they can.

If not, double check to make sure your router and your firewall are allowing the server to access the internet, and make sure they're allowing it to accept connections from the internet.


I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Ok so I favorited my own server and it appears with my ip and when I try to join it says server uses protocol 16. I don't think anyone else can join or see it,and it doesn't appear in the "internet" list.Help?

Make sure everything's all patched up.

Like I said, if it's not appearing on the list for other people, and you *know* for sure that it isn't, then more likely than not your firewall and/or router is blocking it.

If you don't know how to handle routers and firewalls, you may as well give up.
