Today, I opened my JK3 game and tried to open up the console, but it didn't work. Something was wrong, but I didn't know what it was! I looked at my tilt key, which doesnt want to work or type. I took a look at my shift key, but it didn't work as a button for actions, but it did work when I was in chat.

Something is wrong, but I don't know what it is. Maybe some of you may have an answer for me.

The keys don't seem to be broken, since I use shift right now to make CAPITAL LETTERS, nor does my ~ button have a problem now. It is only when I play Jk3.

try to reset your config by deleting jaconfig.cfg and jampconfig.cfg jka should regenerate them next time you start your game

Did you change language settings for your keyboard by any chance? I know from experience that some keys work differently in some games depending on keyboard language settings, but the problem you're having never happened to me. If you didn't change anything, try switching the keyboard to some other language, if available, and see if that does anything.

The simplest, if you are not using an English keyboard, and you accidentally pressed Alt+Shift. Press it again, so it will change back to your local keyboard function (if it doesn't solve the problem, change it back with Alt+Shift).

I think I fixed it. I removed all the jampconfig.cfg's I could find in any folder and in the base I cut and pasted all non assest.pk3 files to a diffrent folder. Later I reput them in base and Shift is working again. Thank you sir's.
