Interesting problem you have there! I never seen anything like that. Honestly , I have no idea what`s causing it , so the only suggestion I can give you is simple: Reinstall the game , but keep your save games so you can continue playing where you left off. Also , did you updated your game? Maybe the patch can solve this. When you say that you can bring down the "council" , I assume you mean "console" , right? Inform us here about a resoult. If my suggestions doesn`t help , I`m sure that Kouen has some tricks in his sleeve , lol  .

I have had the same problem, at least I believe it to be the same problem. Just try lowering the graphics by going to setup and from there video. If that does not work than like Sabrina said, reinstall the game.

Oh, it's probably not your fault then, plus I doubt you can do anything unless you're a modder with some experiance. Just try downloading Medieval Times: Melee Redux and installing it again.

Some mods are known to cause various problems. I never even heard about that "Medieval Times: Melee Redux" mod , so I don`t know what it does and what problems may it cause. Try what Speer suggested , but I doubt it will do any good. Maybe Inyri (or is it Inry?) herself can shed some light on this problem. Inyri , please help!

Try reinstalling game again , but this time clean out every trace of JA from your system before installing it again. For that you need to go to Registry , find everything related to JA and remove it. Be EXTREMLY careful while doing that. Do not touch anything non - related to JA. If you delete something vital , you can screw up your OS beyond repair. I suggest you to have someone qualified do that for you. But , if you want to do it yourself , here`s what you need to do: 1. From the Start Menu choose "Run" , type "Regedit" and click "OK" 2. Go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" and open a subcategory 3. Go to "Software" and open another subcategory 4. Find a folder called "LucasArts" , open it , find JA in there and delete it 5. If you have any other LucasArts games in there , be careful not to touch them 6. Go back to Registry main menu , if we can call it like that 7. Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" , open a subcategory and repeat steps 3 , 4 and 5 That should eliminate all traces of JA from your system. Restart OS , install JA again and try patching it. If you can`t apply the patch , try downloading it again. Who knows , maybe there`s something wrong with the one you have. Finally , if nothing else works , you can try reinstalling OS itself. You would be surprised how many problems can be solved that way. I hope I helped.
