shot0002.jpg On my previous PC, grass, sprite textures, worked perfectly, on every level. Since I've gotten my macbook I hadn't been playing on any maps using sprite textures, but now I see it isn't working. I've tried searching for a solution, but I haven't found anything so far.

Halp?

That's just how those type of sprite shaders appear in MP. I see you're on t2_trip remapped and that's exactly what everyone else using MP would see too. Can't be fixed without engine hax. Some types of shader sprites work though, like textures/yavin/ground_grasssprites_phong or whatever.

No. I actually have pictures of me using the exact same remap on the exact same map, where it does work for me.

shot0052.jpg not the best picture, but the first i found (its quite an effort to find them since they're on my old pc together with 1000's of other screenshots, and finding them with windows crappy search system is a pain)

It would be helpful if you told us what the shader's name is so we can test this ourselves.

Well this is what I get: shot0136.jpg

The shader parser clearly states in the console: WARNING: invalid type in shader 'textures/imperial/dp_ground'

Since it's a shader parsing warning, I doubt it'd be any different on any other player's setup. I'm running Windows XP SP3 with a Nvidia GeForce 9800GT graphics card by the way.

So unless you had a pk3 which fixed the shader file to be compatible in MP, or that it wasn't in fact "textures/imperial/dp_ground" being used for the remap on your old computer, I can't see any reason why the sprites would work for you.

Were you using JKA MP 1.00 by any chance? Or using JKA SP? Probably not since you look like you could have been using Lugormod, but you could also have been running a map file with edited entities in Base.

I guess I'll go check my folders on my old PC. I did used to mess around with all the assets, but I don't remember changing any shaders, since I don't know how to do it anyway. Nor do I remember downloading a fix (is there!?) But it IS imperial/dp_ground, I used an entity file from my old PC. And nope, it was 1.01, Lugormod.

Thanks for the effort, I'll go check tomorrow then I guess! =p

I found out how it worked for me: I had the Lugormod.pk3 from the lugormod 1.1 download on JK3files in my folder.
