hi all i have a problem with my game when i start my server using the JA+ 2.3 mod all my settings reset to default i've used the ja+ forum to find out how to work around the keybindings, chosen character, lightsaber color and lightsaber hilt but the only thing i cant work out how to do is keeping my screen res settings i want to play in 1280x1024 and its okie when i set it mannually but when i start up my server i loose that setting and it resets to 800x600 is there a command i can use to set the screen to 1280x1024 before the game starts? like maybe +set screenhight 1280 screenwidth 1024?? thanks in advance

Different mods carry different settings, so you will have to set it to your desired resolution in both normal jka and the mod you want to play.

:faq: In reply to Paranoid_Goddess: It must be a line in your server.cfg file changing the resolution when you type /exec server.cfg. Check the server.cfg file for a line that sets resolution, and delete it. I'd be more specific about which line it is, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

there is a simple explanation are you starting ja+ with the desktop icon, because once you have played then exited then played again it resets all the video settings so start up ja+ in setup/mods/ ja+. this happend to me so if it doesnt work sorry.
