Alright, i've managed to imitate the video texture seen in some of SJC'S maps in my current map. However, it seems to generate some lag, and thus lowers the FPS to about 30 whenever i look about 30 or so degrees to any side of it.

I would like to know if there is a texture, or a code i can add into the shader which can fix the bad fps whenever i look at the video texture.

Here is the shader file i use, if it helps:

Caulk, areaportal, the works. Its a video, its going to lag. The most you can do is make your map as high FPS as you can and hope for the best. Its like the cameras. One of my favorite moments was when we where on the jedis home map and the person wondered why his FPS dropped whenever he looked at the camera there. He thought it was some sort of secret. Heh.

i actually have two camera entities, and a mirror entity aside from the video, but the video is double the size, and its on a diagnonal angle, like a real tv screen.

But yes i'll try the areaportal, though it may not work because i've put a large texture infront of it which is like a news byline. Lol, thanks.
