Hello Everyone! I'm here to ask a quick mod-related question, forgive my inattentiveness for being unable to solve it myself. I was wondering if there's a mod on the site that removes class skill restrictions, i.e. all skills cost 1 point to increase, rather then some too. I believe a found one earlier that such a focus was part of the mod, although I can't remember the name, but it was quite a bit more stuff then just that, and I wasn't sure which files to pick to get what I wanted. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks for reading my thread!

I would think there's one out there, but hell, there's no restrictions to what you set your mind too. Just give it a shot. There have been A LOT of mods out there that are very similar to each other. Just go ahead and give it a shot.

Thanks for replying! Oh, haha, sorry I gave the wrong impression. I actually was directing the question because I would like to make use of such a mod. Although if it's a simple enough matter and someone pointed me in the right direction in terms of how to do it, I'd give it a shot. I'm no modder, but I'm always willing to give things a shot. Again, thanks for the reply!

Well, I seem unable to find a mod that makes all skills class skills, or that introduces the class skill feats, similiar to KOTOR 2. Although, that may just have to do with my lack of a detective upbringing. Still, until I can make my way over to Scotland Yard for some professional help, if someone could point me in the direction of such a mod, I would greatly appreciate it. Again, thanks for taking the time to read my post!

Ahah! Okay, well, here I go. I found the mod I mentioned previously, which is the K1 Force Pack (1.0) by Star Admiral. The basis of the mod is to add the lightsaber forms that are found in KOTOR 2 to KOTOR 1. He also rebalances the classes in a similar fashion and makes some other tweaks, such as improving force regeneration and attempting to add health regeneration. However, the "only" thing I want out of this mod is the ability to remove cross-class penalties, thus making all skills "class skills". The catch is, of course, I have absolutely no idea how to go about that. Does anyone have any helpful input? For a look at the mod, it can be found here on FileFront, in Knights of the Old Republic Downloads > Mods > Force Powers. Thanks for your input!

Bwahaha! The world is now mine and nobody can stop me! Or...umm...maybe I need to get back on-topic now *cough*. Well, I found the mod I was looking for, or something so close to it that it's good enough for me. The mod is Shem's Increased Attributes and Skills for both KOTOR & TSL. Although I didn't need or want the increased attributes section, that is easily avoidable as you need to click recommended when choosing your attributes to have the bonus, so I can still play with a relatively balanced character. I was just getting irked at the lack of something like TSL's class skill feats, because it really made it so that it was hard to make use of the game's skills if you were any starting class other then a scoundrel, especially before gaining your Jedi class. There's alot of neat stuff that can be done by having enough skill while still on Taris, and I like to do it all! So, hopefully this helps anyone else looking for such a mod in the future, as I had to wrestle a mynock, slay several rancors, and duel a Sith Lord on top of a very cold mountain while in my boxers to find this. And Sherlock Holmes was no help whatsoever, he gave me some mumbo jumbo about never having heard of a computer before...anyways, thanks for reading my post everyone!
