Hi guys, I really don't know where to start downloading tools for dialog (voice) sound editing for K2 TSL, also I want at least to 'take a look' to those great dialog animations the game has. May be this is to difficult stuff for a mod starter like me :uhm: but may be one of you has worked something about this... well that's all folks... :cya:

Well, you'll first want some type of recording/editing software. Now, making the files playable during game play, I can't help you. I do know that about half of the music files for KOTOR 2 are mono mp3's. I'm not sure about the voice tracks. I think some of the sound effects tracks might be wav files. (that's going of my memory)

Although, I have noticed in the file folders for KOTOR 2 that the audio tracks (voice/effects/music) are I.D.'d a certain way to play at the correct time during gameplay. hypothetical example: kreia001

This music editing software is free: http://www.download.com/JetAudio-Basic/3000-2167_4-10617379.html?tag=lst-0-8

I don't know how good it is.

I'm a musician and use cooledit pro 2.1, which is now called adobe audition. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Audio-Editors-Recorders/Cool-Edit-Pro.shtml

For .DLG Editing i suggest Tk102's DLG editor. If you have the Kotor tool you can use that as well. To add annimations you darg the annimation you wish into the selected box for that dialouge string. CURRENTLY it is not possibe to edit annimations. To edit them you will need to convert the compressed quaternions AND know how to uncompress them! Cchargin; the inventor of Mdlops is trying to update it to convert the rotaions, but so far it has not been done!
