How do you add shaders to a skin in KotOR? I'm trying to mod a skin that I want to have a metallic shine on part of it, but the default skin doesn't have any shader whatsoever so that right now the part I want to be shiny is see-through instead. Please help, I don't even know what tools I'd need for this.
You need to edit the appearance.2da with the KotOR Tool.
There you can put CM_Baremetal in the envmap field to use the alpha channel to control the shine instead of the transparency.
