I made a model of the commonly known mando helm (boba fett style) and I was wondering if someone could go about telling me how to get it in game?

I already tried making it as a mask and it worked . . . but you have to make the helm entirely too big to cover all the features on a face.

So, basically, I was hoping someone could point towards a tutorial or tell me how to accomplish something similar to the Bendak Starkiller armor mods where they player is able to dawn an entire set of mando crusader armor.

Thanks.

p.s. If you guys get me squared away on this . . . expect to see alot more quality work show up.

It doesn't surprise me that the mask has to be huge.... If I understand that second bit correctly....then your asking how a player can wear full mandalorian (helmet and armor) armor.....this is actually done by creating an item file and giving it a disguise property and then simply using the madalorian character's appearance....so no new models were put in-game in that case..... What you will likely need to do is make your helmet into a head....of course it would look a bit awkward as your character or who ever was wearing it would constantly wear it...so it would be impossible to remove without changeing your head....this is the only way to make it normal size and still hide the entier face (because since it is the face nothing is there to show). I do not know how to make new heads appear in-game unfortunetly....but it is possible.

I've recently been experimenting with modding KOTOR 2, and there is in fact a disguise option. When you put the piece of armor in, it changes your player model to a different one. If you could make your own player model, and then set the disguise as such, then that should work.

Cool, cool. I see the disguise feature and that tells me everything I need to know . . . I think. I'll try some thinks and post back in an hour or so. Thanks!

Ok well . . . I guess I'm not really sure what to do after all so this project may be finished before it was started. I added the helmet to the model attached it to the head and blah blah blah. I THOUGHT I weighted it right but I'm not sure. Anyway, I tried to export it . . . got some "animation does not exist" errors, then when I tried to compile the model it just kept telling me it couldn't open the .mdx instead of creating it the way it does with everything else. Any ideas on how to attach this model to the mando armor?

Small update . . . figured out the animation problem but it still won't create the .mdx so i don't know.

Hmm . . . this looked promising but the download doesn't work anymore:

Welp . . . I think I'm on the right track. I got everything to export alright . . . but how do I make the disguise thing work? I have no idea how to make something that points towards the model AND is selectable in the disguise parameter drop down.

Thanks.
