i want to make a BIG area mod for k1 featuring the jedi temple with lots of jedi walking around. i also want to make individual rooms for students of the temple with 1 lightsaber and robes in each 1. and a new quest were you get to continue your jedi training and advanse from a padawan to a knight. also i wanted to make some streets of corasant and the senate chambers. the picture of the layout is down below

First off, you never said what game we are talking about, KOTOR or TSL. For TSL, there is already a mod of the Jedi Temple, constructed with areas from Nar Shadaa and the Jedi Enclave in Tatooine. Which brings me to the next point. You can't make a completely new area, the most you can do is use already created ones, maybe change the textures a bit, but essentialy they remain the same. In KOTOR, the Jedi Temple would have to look like Taris's inner scenarios, and the same goes for your Coruscant. As long as you are aware of this and are able to live with it, it is not that hard to do it. Storyline-wise, neither of the games could have many Jedi training in the temple, this is why the Jedi Temple Mod in TSL is completely abandoned, save for the Sith Assasins searching for the Sith Holocron, and about six Republic guards. In KOTOR, the remaining Jedi are either fighting or hiding in Dantooine, since Coruscant is the most obvious location for Jedi gatherings, and their ranks have been severely reduced. It is doubtful anyone would jump to make such a mod, since even smaller-scale, more logical, contributions never see the light of day. Try looking around for a bit, so you get an idea of what I am talking about. If you still hold the desire to see it and nobody helps, well, you can always read the tutorials and give it a shot yourself!! It is always nice to see the rise of a new contributor!! :nodding:

1st off its in the K1 area of the modding fourms 2nd have u ever seen the beta temple mod it is a compleatly new area not a reused/retextured area

Why yes, it is quite obvious, my mistake, I bow before you in shame. :bows: Neverthless, have you seen the World War 2 mod? same as the beta you speak of, is rather... uhm... I guess the word would be unfinished. The building models look like taken out of Mysteries if the Sith, and the textures could really be retouched. The shadow effects are strange, etc. I know it is a Beta, and I am in no way trying to undermine the authors' work, but I didn't even suggest it because I think such work is evidently best suited for long-term proyects and it still doesn't reach the game's graphical quality, The Jedi Temple Beta mod is actually made of two areas. Remember what I said earlier? Your idea is much more ambitious, and I am not even taking into consideration the landscape of Coruscant and the inner halls of the High Jedi Temple are more complex than a barren desolat planet surface and an abandoned ruin!! The thing is, I still think the only way you are ever gonna see something like this through, is if you make it by your own hand. :nodding:
