THIS FORUM IS ONLY FOR THOSE WORKING ON NEW THINGS FOR THE GAME AND/OR HAVE IDEAS ON HOW TO CREATE, MODIFY, AND REPAIR ANY AVAILABLE OR UNAVAILABLE MODS. Here is where the fellow modders and "creators" can communicate with one another about any ideas they may have to improve the Kotor I game only. If you want to mod Kotor II, you must create your own forum. This forum's owner is Lord Voxx. This is Lord Voxx, and I am "lord of the sith." (Lord of the sith is just a title, and even though I usually play darkside games, lightsiders are welcome to give thoughts and opinions about the mods too) Let the Discussion begin!

Lord Voxx has an e-mail that you can contact to send me links to special Kotor mods other than those listed on Game Downloads, Game Patches - FileFront.com. Be cautioned, if I am sent any e-mail regarding to material other than that of the Kotor I (or TSL) games, I can find out who sent it, and block them from adding on to this forum. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Everyone likes using mods to get extra stuff and new areas, but not many people like these "God" power items. What fun is a game, when it doesn't have a challenge? Thats like saying: "Hey look, a bad guy. BAM. Yeah, he's dead, but what now?" Here's your answer: You make it more challenging. To be put against rough situations and face near death consequences, THAT is the true purpose of GAMING.

Lots of people can use fred tetra's kotor tool to edit their items and the places they can get them, but not everyone can create NEW items, no more, to edit the way they look. Perhaps someone could enlighten me on this, because the only thing I can do right now is to download the God items that are useless to me, and edit their properties to what I want, but it gets rid of the previous item I modified.

Another explanation is needed: What do you use to create new areas, how do you do it, and if you use some kind of unique program that you had to download, where did you get it? I want to add a new level, that when complete it will be similar to Taris, but with five levels to explore, and several, and I mean SEVERAL new quests, people, dialogue options, items, and other things that it will have. When I am finished, I will post it on Game Downloads, Game Patches - FileFront.com. So if you know how to do some serious modding and can give me any modding lessons, I would be very appreciative.

I found a Shit Talker that will say anything you type in to the console, but it doesn't save the sounds so I can put it into the game for dialogue. If anyone knows about the program I'm talking about, please speak up. Otherwise, please tell me names of websites that I can go to in order for me to download a similar device. I'm looking for one that will cause the computer to say anything I type in and be able to save it to a sound file or other music file, that is without having to go through looking at an online database for every single word. Thanks, get back to me ASAP

I have several ideas if anyone would like to help me with them. What about a mod where you could do maintenance on your ship (similar to that mod about the d-wing replacing the ebon hawk, which can someone get back to me on where that mod is going, like what is the progress), but anyway. What if you could go to a store on the planet I am creating, talk to some random dude named Ricky Romero, for instance to change the color of T3 to look like one of those pictures in that Kotor movie style droid mod, and choose from any one of those you want whether it be red, yellow, blue, or whatever.

Okay. Here is my idea. I want to create a planet with five levels on it, kind of like how taris was set up. The levels going from top to bottom are: The nobles apartments, governors, Planetary HQ, etc. The Buisness Sector with all your merchants and stuff. The Residential with all the apartments that people live in, the cantinas, any garages, and all those kinds of things. The Illegals/Gangs area, with all the different gangs, exchange area, and the illegal apartments that are used by people banished from the upper areas (Get where I'm going with this). Then there are the outcasts in the under city along with other factions that you must stop from attacking the innocent people. Finally, below them is an extra level, the sewers. Those connect to every base in the illegals area, and for a bonus, they have two rooms like that huge rancor room at the end of the sewer level on taris, yet this time, with a twist. The rooms are connecting to each other, one contains not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR terentaleks (those creatures in the last tomb of Korriban) and the other huge chamber contains twenty-five kath hounds. Both of those massive bays have six different doors that branch off of them with a small room behind each of them. It is the same setup of six doors in both chambers so I'll give you the description of one set of six doors in the terentalek chamber. Door 1, 2, and 3 contain two Gammoreans each. Door 4 contains 6 Rahkghouls. Door 5, and 6 both contain two small rancors in each. The best part about this, is that you can go into a room before you enter these two chambers and use a terminal to release one door at a time, two doors of your choice, three doors of your choice, or all the doors of one chamber at a time. Also, using this terminal would allow you to open the massive bay door between the four terentaleks and the army of kath hounds. This is the pride and joy of the sewers because this would allow you to pit your favorite creatures against each other at your whim. Also down in the sewers, you would have to fight your way through two oppositions, that will also fight each other if they see one another: Rahghouls, and Gammoreans. Also there would be a few outcast scavengers that were stranded in the sewers and require your aid to get them out, or you could just kill them on the spot.
