Sounds like you have all of your bases covered! Keep it up and let us know when you finish the first section! I'm dying to read it!
I'll try to write more over the weekend.
I took a little break from writing for a while, but then I got an idea for an Atton's Past story, so I've been writing on that. I'm three chapters in so far. I promise I will try to write more on this one, though!
Statement: My gears are practically quivering of anticipation. ~HK-47.
It's a little messy; I copied and pasted. Bear with me. "So are we ready to get out of this place?" asked Carth. "Yes!" said Mission. "Let’s get off of boring Dantooine." "See? That’s the trouble with the youth today!"shouted Jolee. "They think everything’s boring. Well, don’t some of us have a right to be boring? Now, I’m going back to my quarters for a nice long, peaceful nap. For once, maybe I won’t be interrupted by shouts of ‘Help’ or ‘Dark Jedi’." Jolee stalked off to his room, and moments later, the group in the cockpit heard the door shut to keep out any disturbances. "Okay. So...where to?" Carth questioned. "Hey, Zaalbar, we could go see your dad, on Kashyyyk!" exclaimed Mission. "Yeah," Rinna said. "How ‘bout it, Carth?" "Hey, that’s fine with me. It’ll be nice just to visit a planet. You know, without worrying about Sith or Star Maps." Canderous voiced his agreement. "Those Star Maps and all those little missions the Jedi gave us got pretty annoying." "Not to mention, almost got us killed.... More than once," said Juhani. Zaalbar growled his impatience. "The sooner we get to Kashyyyk, the sooner I can check up on my father." "Zaalbar’s right. Let’s get this ship in the air!" said Rinna. Carth pressed several buttons on the instrument panel and within seconds, the ship was airborne. "Now, I’ll just put in the coordinates.... And we’re off!" After several minutes, Rinna leaned down to Carth. "May I speak to you? Alone?" "Um...sure. Canderous, could you, um, sit here and not run us into an asteroid field?" "I’ve been flying longer than you’ve been a soldier, Onasi." "It’s true," agreed Rinna. "He once had to fall back to a planet on a droid." Carth, Mission, and Juhani all looked at her questioningly. "What?" she yelled. Carth glanced at her. "Okay. Where do you want to talk?" Rinna motioned for him to follow her, and she led him to the cargo hold. "Do you remember when you told me that after this was all over, maybe we could try to have a relationship?" "Um... well...yes." Carth shifted uncomfortably. "Well...it’s all over now," Rinna said. "Yeah, but-" "Carth! You don’t have to be so nervous!" "I- I know that. But you’re just so...charismatic. And intimidating." Rinna smiled. "I know." "Well, it’s hard for me just to have a conversation with you, let alone a relationship!" He sighed. "But I do trust you. More than I ever have anyone. Even-Even Saul. It just- It comes so naturally. It’s like I’ve always known you. And after all you’ve done, as your old self...as Revan.... I still love you." "Thank you, Carth," Rinna said, stunned. She hadn’t expected that at all. "I never really-" Then, Carth kissed her. It was quick, but a big step for them both, especially Carth. "Wow. You really are a puzzle, Carth Onasi." He laughed. "That I am, gorgeous." Rinna was so happy to see him smiling again. She liked those seldom moments where he could just laugh with her. When he was truly happy. "I just wanted to see what it was like. Again," he said, referring to their first kiss on Rakata Prime. "Well, I liked it," she said. "We should try it again sometime." "Okay, then." He leaned down and kissed her again. She embraced him quickly and kissed him back. "Thanks," said Rinna. "That means a lot to me. More than you’ll ever know. It’s wonderful to know you trust me and that you’ve truly forgiven me." "I’m glad I did. To tell you the truth, I- Well, I hated myself more than anything when I wanted revenge on Saul. And- And I’m glad you changed me." "I didn’t change you Carth. You chose to change yourself. And I’m glad you did." "Me too." They stood in silence for a while. "Well, we should get back to the cockpit. No telling what they’ve said about us." Carth led her back to where the remaining members of their party was, where an uncomfortable silence hushed to occupants of the cockpit."What are you all talking about?" asked Carth, innocently. "Um.... Hyperspace routes!" shouted Mission. "Yeah!" everyone chimed in. "Oh. Sheew. I thought you all were talking about us!" said Rinna in mock relief. Everybody laughed uncomfortably. "So how long to Kashyyyk?" asked Rinna. "A few more hours yet," said Canderous. "I can take it from here," said Carth. Canderous got up and let Carth sit down. It was a long way to Kashyyyk.
