Well, that's bassicly what happens. I install the game, patch it, set the configuration, start the game. I get the intro credit - lukas arts and all that, and then at the point where I should be able to start the game and all that, I just get the black screen. I can hear the background music, I see the mouse pointer, but nothing more. Please help me on this one, I really want to play this master piece. This is the only game I've had problems so far, so my graphic card and processor speed isn't the issue.

I didn't install any mods, as soon as I finished installing Kotor, I wanted to start playing...

Don't know... I bought the game, downloaded the latest patch, and I was unable to play... I have an ATI Radeon 9600, and I notice many people with radeon cards have problems, so I'll just reinstall the drivers and see what happens

A situation like this sometimes happens with me, except it is at the swoop track. Please tell me if you find a solution.

Try http://forums.filefront.com/showthread.php?t=282994 ATi and KoToR don't mix well. Add the line and try running it.
