Brotherhood of Shadow: Stuck on Dantooine -1 reply

I finally got around to playing the Brotherhood of Shadow mod, and I must say it is vastly entertaining. However, I'm having an issue. As soon as Revan finishes his vision where Bastila attacks him, I'm transported to Dantooine. Then, nothing will happen. I'm sitting around with Vrook and the gang, and none of them will speak to me. Is there something I'm supposed to do, or do I have some kind of installation issue?

It's a known bug, which the mod author is working on. For some reason, the conversation ends prematurely, thus leaving you stranded in the module.

You're actually not supposed to be able to leave the room (due to the continuous dialogue/fight scenes), and at the very end, you're moved back to where you were before you started.

All I can suggest reinstalling, and loading a saved game before you entered the Artifact/Rakatan Prison, or that module atleast.

Actually, I took out some of my other mods and it seemed to work just fine. I think I removed the "Belaya's New Look" and "Darth Malak: Improved" mods. Don't know if these were responsible for the issues or not. But it worked fine after.

Negative, my friend, I have both the Belaya and Malak Improved mods in my override, along with a ton of other tweaks, and have never experienced said bug. I've played all TBofS versions and nothing bad happened, aside from the "Helena not showing" bug. It appears this is a temporal malfunction, fixable by loading a previous saved game, but you could do some testing yourself to find out. Wow, so many weird things happening with this modification...

Actually, I've been messing around with the KotorTool, and for some reason, that section of the mod was just set to not activate. Or whatever. Instead of going into a battle scene/movie thing, it's like it loaded the regular Enclave, but with locked doors (Which could be bashed) and no NPCs except the Masters and Belaya.

It's probably something I did.

It doesn't happen all the time, and it hasn't happened to me since the very first time I played the mod.

I, too, find it surprising how many people encounter the bug.

You guys may wish to report these bugs to the mod's author via e-mail or some other method. I'm not entirely certain that Silveredge uses these forums, so your concerns may not get seen.

Hey there, Darkblade!! That's exactly my point, it doesn't seem to happen everytime you go through the mod, that's why I think it may be a temporal thing, possibly provoked by ocassional data "overload", which is quite common in these kind of modified games. It would be helpful if other guys and girls experiencing the bug posted here about how they got around it. I still think it may be a simple matter of reloading a pre-sequence/scenario block, but seeing as I have never encountered such issue, some first-hand info would be highly apreciated. :nodding:

that problem happens to me. i've tried pretty much everything suggested by fellow members and still no joy. no matter what mods i delete, how many times i go through the story from scratch or from a saved game near to the reven fight scene etc etc, the game still leaves me running around that damn room. i've been told silveredgeis working on a bug fix, so i guess its a waiting game.
