hi, i just installed 4 new mods (kreias_robe_fix_v1.1,bos_sr_1.0,ultimatesoundmod and new_grass_2.0) and started playing a new game. but when i reach carth on the eder spire. and he says "there will be time for questions later" the game crashes. i hate tons of mods installed but before the 4 new mods my game didnt crash.

can someone help me get around it, without lossing those mods.

Then those 4 mods are most likely conflicting. Try finding out which mod causes the conflict/crash, and remove it. You can't keep the mods alltogether if they conflict.

how can i find out what mods conflict (i have no knowledge in modding). besides none of these mods, and the rest of my mods have anything to do with that part of the game.

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about the problem but are you sure you posted in the correct place? You mention Kreias robe fix, wouldn't that go to K2 instead of 1?

It doesn't matter. If you have conflicting mods in your override directory, your game will crash at some point in the game. It doesn't have to be related to the scene at all. As I've said before, you could try to remove those four mods (the ones that caused the crash, seeing as you've said that the game didn't crash before you've installed those). Then, try to add one by one, and see which one eventually causes the conflict.

Actually, I might have discovered another possible source... My KotORs don't work anymore (both of them! I hate the world!) since I installed a new driver for my graphics card. And since so many people have crash problems just now (I believe there were never so many people with that problem), I think it could be related to the new drivers. Second opinions? (I'm talking about NVIDIA GeForce)

You can find the support FAQ of KOTOR I here: LucasArts.com | Yoda's Help Desk

The one of KOTOR II here: LucasArts.com | Yoda's Help Desk

Just look under the category "video", and see if your video card is supported or not.

(Assuming you're talking to me) It's not my card that's the problem. It performed just fine until I installed the new driver, I changed absolutely nothing and the same problem occurs even after reinstalling several times. There can be no other reason, in my opinion.

If you have not figuered it out by now, to find out which mods are conflicting leave all 4 in and take one out try the game, if that does not fix it repeat the process with a nother one, and so one and so forth, it may take a while, but it should work if conflicting mods are the problem.
