Hey I'm having trouble transferring some mods such as K1 and TSL Difficulty Options and Super Enhanced Mod for both KOTOR & TSL. For some reason the data stays in their folders and only goes to the override dirrectory of kotor 2 and it is not applied toward the game. Can someone give me some help on installing these mods?

To simplify the answer, can someone tell me how to install because obviously I'm doing something wrong.

Two things (in case you didn't see): 1. post-editing time is now unlimited, so you don't have to quadruple-post or so... 2. Thanks to a local "overlord" called Graeme ( :bows: ), we now have our own FAQ (Yippie! :nodding: ) http://forums.filefront.com/kotor-general-discussion/404752-little-faq.html#post4966409

Oh sorry I'm new to the forums and I didn't know about the unlimited edits. Hey on that Little Faq is it just their to specifically tell you how to do most mods or is their also to ask some questions about how to install certain types of mods?

Note: I have installed most of the mods I have download from file front, but for some reasons I am having specific trouble on mods such as K1 and TSL Difficulty options and Super Enhanced mod for TSL. When I would move these files to the override of my kotor 2 tsl, it was not applied toward my game. Here are the specific links for the mods in case any of you have personally installed these mods and can give me some help.

Note:I have not installed these mods at the same time, I have just found that either one has not been applied toward the game.

Nickious;4966631Hey on that Little Faq is it just their to specifically tell you how to do most mods or is their also to ask some questions about how to install certain types of mods?

My little FAQ specifies how to install the mods in general. The mods are either installed by using an executable file, called the TSLPatcher, or just manually, which isn't hard either.

As for the K1 and TSL Diffifulty Options mod, it isn't really any different from usual installs. Just open the file in the downloaded .ZIP/.RAR and you'll see two folders. One is KOTOR and the other is TSL. In this case, your game would be KOTOR, so open the KOTOR folder. Then choose whether you want normal (slightly harder than default normal), or hardcore mode. If you want hardcore, open the "hardcore" folder and you'll put the .2da in your Override (ie. C:/Program Files/LucasArts/KotOR/override), and it should work. Same goes for normal mode.

If it's the other mod, the Super Enhanced addon. Be sure you have the MAIN mod as well, which would be: Super Enhanced Mod for both KOTOR & TSL, Knights of the Old Republic 2 Downloads, Knights of the Old Republic 2 Modified Content

It seems you've only used the AddOn. Install the MAIN mod first, and the Add-On afterwards (Super Enhanced Mod Add On for both KOTOR & TSL, Knights of the Old Republic 2 Downloads, Knights of the Old Republic 2 Modified Content).

Hope that helps.

Maybe its because i put both of the files instead of just one of them. I'll see these difficulty options if I have done this right. Yes, you should be able to choose Choke and Horror difficulty mod if installed properly. As for the compatibility of these two mods, I am not sure of. It might be best to ask the authors or test it on your own computer.

It didn't work :(. Btw the game i have is TSL and i put the TSL file the hardcore file within it, into my TSL override and it still didn't work. I really don't understand why its not working.

Note: I have tons of mods in my override and I know from experience they work. I don't understand why this isn't being applied toward the game.

Are you sure your game is updated to 1.0b? I just put the .2da file in my override, went in-game and could choose Choke/Insanity. If nothing works, try reinstalling your game (make a backup of your Override first as you mentioned you have tons of mods) and see if that fixes the issue.

Hmm i don't have update to 1.0b for some reason it was really hard to install on my game, but that could be it. Thanks for the help and I'll try what you said. Hopefully i can install the patch, though the last 5 times i ve done that patch it stops at 96 percent.
