The other day, I installed a mod, and I don't guess I installed it right because it only overrid my other file. So I couldn't play the game at all. I uninstalled so it would return to normal settings. It unistalled fine, but when I tried to reinstall it, it said: "Feature: DefaultFeature Component: DefaultEN File: D:\KOTOR\data8.cab Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)." I have no idea what it means, much less how to fix it. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

you may have to go in and manually remove the mod files because the installer is picking up the remnants of a file that was probably replaced by the mod and hasn't been completely removed. you may have to go as far as using the regedit command and searching the local machine registry to find the stray file. or u can back up all your important stuff and reformat but that's kind of the last resort thing

Well, I've already uninstalled it. Besides, I think it's the disc. So, hopefully I'll get a new one for my birthday.
