I didn't make it!

Hello, new to the site, as my post count could probably attest to. Anyway, I downloaded this mod, hoping to get past the Taris section of the game (what can I say, I hate the place). However, Trask isn't coughing up the options for me to choose. Would anybody that made the mod work help me out with this? Please?

How come everybody wants to skip the best planet in the game? :p

I guess the first question that should be asked is are you sure you installed it properly? I'm not familiar with the mod, so I can unfortunately only give you general suggestions until someone who is familiar with it can help you in a little more detail.

Well, I'm fairly certain that I installed correctly. Then again, if I did screw it up, I guess it's all the more reason for somebody to come along and answer the question. :) And, no offense, but as far as I'm concerned, Taris can kiss my big ol' :moon:

I'm usually a little skeptical about these mods, as making a working 'Skip ____' would take an intense amount of work (all the variables and such that you would have to set just beg one to be missed... and if Murphy's Law has anything to say about it, it'd be a doozy!). Don't be too disappointed if you find out it's buggy in the end, assuming someone does help you get it working.

Lol: lets just keep Murphy's law in a cupboard or I'll get seasick lol. I cannot stand that guy that keep being pessimist!

As for the question, I'd suggest you to go over the read-me again and I'm pretty sure that you'll get it to work. If it does not properly, then try reinstalling the whole game again and don't install any other mod, and then, when both the game and the mod are installed, create a new game and I'm pretty sure the problem will be gone ;)

You can only install it this way:

1. Open up the .zip file 2. EXTRACT (not copy and paste, not drag and drop) all the stuff in the .zip file to your desktop 3. It should have a couple of folders (one called tslpatchdata) and an .exe file on your desktop. Click the exe file, go to your KotOR root directory when prompted (not the override, the main folder)

Once it says installation is complete, it should work.
