What operating system are you using?

The minimum system requirements are what is required to simply start the game. I suggest you get at least a gigabyte of RAM (If your laptop allows for expansion) if you are on XP or lower, and more than that if you are using Vista.

From what I've heard about Radeon XPress 200, it doesn't run the game very well.

As a sidenote, laptops aren't exactly meant to play games smoothly and consistently.

What other games do you have on you desktop what systems do you have installed etc.And you said it happened on both games but in your paragraph up there you cleary stated that you only uninstalled 1 game 3 times so I need some further details and clearfacation to help you

Sorry, thought that it was a laptop exclusive card.

Re-installing the game won't help unless there were mods that were causing it to run slowly. Really the only way of getting it to run faster is by upgrading or turning down the details.

Friend, the only thing you can do about it is spend some more dough in your pc. Let me give you an example: I run a 3.2 pentium core with 512 MB in graphics and 2 gygabytes in RAM. I have made some personal tweaks so as to improve performance on videogames and visual utilities. This, by no means, is a powerful and fast machine, yet it ranges way above average where I come from. Now, here comes the interesting part: I still can't play KOTOR or TSL on the highest possible quality because it frames a little bit. Most guys who know me say I'm exaggerating, but, to be honest, I've always thought a game should be played the way it is meant to by the creators. Squeeze a little out of your budget and buy better parts for your computer. In the end, it will bring you much joy. :)

What other games are you running? It is key to know which, for if you run games like Diablo, Age of Empires, Nocturne and the like, KOTOR and TSL are waaaay beyond. If you are able to run games like LEGO Star Wars, Jedi Outcast, Battle for Middle Earth, Neverwinter Nights II or Call Of Juarez at their full capacity, then, believe me, it is not a hardware issue. If you can't play any high-res videogame at its fullest, and I mean semi-heavy stuff like the aforementioned, then I stick to my recommendation: Save some bucks and buy better parts. Trust me, a long time ago I was exactly where you are, getting discarded hardware, squeezing whatever tech I could find, but it just won't do. I know it is hard to get the money to upgrade, but the rewards are worthy. If you keep thinking it is a software issue, then update everything, from OS to ActiveX... codecs, pluggins, patches and even throw some diagnostic tools. With some "computer use" skill you may even venture into the risky realm of speed-tuning and non-healthy mods!! It is a fascinating, yet dangerous option!!=p
