Hi everyone. I d/led a couple of Mods for KotOR 1 & 2. This is my first time dealing with Mods. I d/led the WinRAR, and I have the Best of PC version of KotOR1. It says to put the mod into the Override folder, but it is several files when I open the folder. If I put the folder there, it will also put the Read Me and something else I don't think it's the Mod. Also, I don't see Override anywhere. The only time I see Override is when I try to do this with my KotOR 2 disc, there is an Override folder. But nothing seems to work with both games.

Someone please help me :bawl:

Sorry this is my first experience with Mods....

Firstly make sure your KotOR game is up to date. I'm not familiar with the Best Of collection in terms of what versions they packaged with it, but it might be worthwhile to check.

Also make sure you check a mod's read-me to see how to use it. If you have installed it correctly and are following the directions, it could be an issue with your version of the game. This is somewhat unlikely, though.

I didn't make it!

BoPC includes the patches. That's the version I've got, and it throws an error at me any time I try to download a patch, which LucasArts says means it's already installed. With mods, it's not really necessary to stick stuff like the readme and the screenshots into Override; I hold those in a separate place for reference of what mods I've got installed. As for not having an override, if I recall correctly, I had to make one for my KotOR 1 game, so it may be that BoPC's version of KotOR doesn't stick one in there normally. If you can't find it, I don't think there's a problem with just making a folder called "Override" in your main game folder.
