Bastila probably, 'cause she's the only female Jedi in the first game. (Juhani doesn't count - I HATED her character all through the game, I was so mad I didn't kill her on Dantooine ... I did on my second way through, though.) ANYways, back to Bastila - she's the only female Jedi in the first game, and the first game was so much better than the second, and plus she has some eye candy for you to look at while she's dressed in her normal clothes ... or none. And about Handmaiden ... many people go through the game without even getting her to Jedi (although I do every time). AND female players can't even get her ... (I was so mad when I played as a woman one time, and I got the wimpy Disciple instead ...) Mira should be on there, too, since she can be a Jedi if you have enough influence, plus she's one of the most bad ass characters in the game ... and her jacket doesn't look too shabby on her, either.

Never count the Disciple out, I have found him to be a very powerful Force User, and a great Melee supporter. You just need to give him time. As far as a female Sith/Jedi... I have to go with Kreia. Why? She optimizes the term 'Sith.' She's wonderfully knowledgeable in the ways of the Force, and she uses manipulation to the level of Palpatine. Aside from all of that, but she could use Kenetic abilities to create lightsabers, and move them with sheer mind power! She's one bad lady!

I would have to say Atris. My reason, is that she has collected artifacts of the force both light and dark, has a knowledge of the Force bigger than most Force-sensitives, and even though she was corrupted by the dark side, she is still a wise historian.May the Force guide her back to the light side.

Bastila, all the way. Her character is really nicely fleshed out, and it has a dynamic feel to it, meaning that she changes during the course of the game as she gets to know the player better. And I really like how her story with a Male Revan plays out.
