I was having one of those days where you feel like getting a new game so i chose KOTOR 2. I had been playing Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast quite a lot and that was pretty good so i thought KOTOR 2 would be a blinder!!! My first dissapointment was the fact that you couldn't swish your light saber around manually it was all crap and automatic it was almost like final fantasy when you go into battle and can't actually control the charactor yourself whilst in battle. My other problem was the graphics. I have a really good graphics card that cost me over £300 (Radeon X800 pro) and it runs the game very smoothly on the highest settings FOR A WHILE!. It was ok at the begining of the game but as you walked through into a crowded area and the area had to be loaded the game went all jumpy. So every time it did that i had to go to graphics settings and switch something off then back on. I didn't actually change any of the settings but the game went smooth again but i had to do this every time i entered a new area. Its starting to really get to me!!! I would just like to say if anyone else has had this problem of feels the same way about this game post on here and hopefully will urge the guys at Lucas Arts to pull their fu*king fingeres out and make some decent games that arn't rushed to get on the shelves for the summer sales!!! Iv'e said my bit!!

Did you try the first KOTOR? if not you should have played it first.

It's a RPG which was based for the xbox, what did you expect?
Ah well you see i didn't know it was an RPG i thought it was an all round action game. Suppose i should have checked it out properly before my purchace!

Please don't swear in thread titles. Starring out one letter is not a valid remedy.

Absolutely. Inform yourself before purchase in the future, then you will have no reason to complain.
Lol ... before I buy a game, I check at least 1 or 2 reviews (IGN mostly, lol), some comments on the game, screenshots and grab a demo if there's one available. But, to each his own ... I myself think that the combat system is genious ... And, the graphics card - my card works great, myself - 'course, I don't have all settings on high. Maybe some settings aren't supported on your card ... try taking off unneeded enhancers.
PS - BTW, thought about getting JK Academy, the next in the Jedi Knight series? I have both Outcast and Academy, and after I got Academy, I never touched Outcast again, lol.
Dude, the graphics for koToR Ii are really good. My CPU was fineand it didn't take while or anything.
Kotor 2 is really good. The only argument we have here is if it is better than kotor 1.

While it obviously has it flaws, KOTOR 2 is generally a well-liked game. I see no point in beating a dead horse.
