tr000;4426468Correllia
Corellia's on the top of my list. The place could just be so damn big.

Kessel

Hmm...

Alderaan

Eh...well, I'm not saying no, but it'd probably be boring.

Rhen Vhar Mustafar

Rhen Var couldn't work, since there's a certain something buried there that won't be found for another four thousand years, as for Mustafar...it's a possibility.

Ord Montell

Ah, good one. That could be huge like Corellia.

Kamino Mygeeto

Eh...

Darth Dracon;4426539Coruscant
Oh, yeah.
Mon Calamari

Huh, I thought I was the only one. Mon Calamari (aka Dac) could be pretty interesting, as unlike Manaan it has several cities, and there could also some underwater stuff. Not sure how it would fit the story, though. :lookaround:
Vjun Byss Tython Ruusan
Eh...I'm not sure what would be the point of having any of these. It's just...they weren't really of any importance during the KotOR era, or we'd have heard about them. Vjun was only noted for Vader's vacation home, Byss for the Emperor's, Tython for the Force Wars which were millennia ago, and Ruusan for the Valley of the Jedi, which won't exist for another 3000 years (before that it was just a dustball). Still, they could work, in theory. Anything could work, really...except Tatooine. :p
Malachor V

Malachor got blowed up. :p
arkania?

Ooo, nice one.

I'm going to repeat something I've said in the past...only five planets are really necessary, provided that each planet is big enough--and I'm talking Taris big. One for the opening of the game, three for the main quest path, and one for the final battle.

As of now my picks would be Arkania, Corellia, Coruscant, Ord Mantell, and some new True Sith world.

Well if you didn't know yet KotOR3 will be released January 2009! as for planets i'd say Korriban, Coruscant, Dantooine and Dxun(for the 2nd mandalorian crusade) but Mustafar would be a bad choice since by this time the jedi/sith war would have destroyed Mustafar's eco-system and blasted it into space until it get's caught between 2 gas giants 3000 and something years from KotOR

If things are done right storyline-wise, we should stick to Outer Rim worlds near the Unknown Regions, perhaps even some new planets beyond known space. Seeing the same planets over and over tends to bore me. Perhaps some have not been portrayed in videogames yet, but places like Corellia, Mandalore, etc. have been thouroughly described in other media. My love would go to somehow unexplored planets and their potential trascendance to an invasion from the Unknown Regions, since this is what KOTOR III should be about!! My love goes to Bilbringi, Iridonia, Borleias, Ansion, Adumar, Nirauan, and perhaps some oldies, just to get the main battles going, like Ossus, Coruscant, Ilum, etc. However, the very one that should be OBLIGATORY, would have to be Csilla, for OBVIOUS reasons, specialy if the plot includes the ever-present threat Canderous hints at in KOTOR, the "asteroid thing with melting missiles", an evident reference to one of the deadliest species in the Star Wars Saga. Regardless, since most gamers don't know a thing about these relatively unknown scenarios, and since KOTOR III will probably follow the so-famous path of "sell, sell, sell" it is quite probable known and fairly repeated planets are used. :uhm: A shame, indeed.

what about ziost? that's a true sith homeworld.don't know if it entered an ice age by then.ithor?I hope korriban won't be repeated. the only place you could really go on korriban is the valley of the sith. it was the only inhabited part, so it would just be dull. i beliegve that "ever present threat" was an early vong scouting party. although not strictly canon, HK-47 did end up crashlanded on mustafar aboard a republic xcruiser, so could that work?
