Inyri Forge;4254822:rofl: They use flash training on the clones. His consciousness didn't "live on" because he was special; it lived on because the doctors were special. =p

There was no need for any training of the clones. He left one body at death and transferred his spirt/essence/whatever you want to call it, and moved it into another clone. Whilst fighting Luke on Byss he did the same thing during that fight, despite Luke's unsuccessful attempt to destroy the clone bodies.

Unfortunately for some people, they're part & parcel of the Expanded Universe as is Revan and the Exile.

That is not how cloning works in the legitimate EU. If that's how it works in the comics, then the comics phail. This is Star Wars, not Dungeons & Dragons.

Hey, you know it's rubbish, I know it's rubbish.... we all know it's rubbish. However, that doesn't change the facts. The Emperor didn't need trained clones because he simply moved from one body to the next upon death. That was what also lead to his final death, after his "spirit" was "contained" by Empatajaos Brand in Empire's End. Swords and sorcery fantasy stuff? Yes. Afterall that's what all Star Wars is, swords and sorcery in space.

There is no sorcery; there is the Force.

*Inyri Forge adds that to the Jedi Code.

In any case, the Force still has rules. You've never seen Obi-wan's or Yoda's blue glowie jump into somebody else's body. Why? This is Star Wars, not Ghost (although Ghost was an awesome movie -- everybody should see it). That just makes your comics crappy Star Wars lore. For every good piece of Star Wars writing there's 10 bad ones. From the sounds of it, that's up near the top somewhere.

Indeed. Crimson Empire managed to do a bit of justice with the whole cloned Emperor thing, though--but they only dealt with the aftermath of the Emperor's death.

Pappy's spirit transferrence was a very hard to use and forbidden technique. Also I guess no one but him knew about it. Thank god, cause I thought it was knida stupid.
