Big problem : My computer does not know which program to use to open the "appearance.2da" file.

Hmm...you can't just double-click it in KOTOR Tool?

Oh yeah, sorry. I thought I had to extract the file. My bad.

No worries. :) If you want to extract the file (to save it for later), you can right click and select "Open with...", and then say you want to select which program; then with "Browse", find where you installed KT, and then select it. Oh, and be sure to hit "Always open with this program" (or whatever it actually says). ;)

Hmm, I think you're gonna have to give me a modified version of your "I'm short" post because there's the part with the armband that I don't really get. I've opened up one of the a_band files, gone on the Properties section and pressed "delete" on every category ("Property", "subtype", etc.) except one and nothing gets deleted when I press the "delete" button.

No, not like that. :p Highlight the whole thing (by clicking the little arrow once) and press the delete button (NOT backspace). Do this for all but one. Then double-click the arrow of the only remaining one, and edit the properties there.

So, let me see if I've got this right : I should delete all properties of every "armband" item then save, except for one armband ?

All but one, yes. Then double-click that one and edit its properties to make it a disguise.

Sorry,:( it's really not working. I tried deleting all stuff in the properties section of one of the armbands, then saving it. I only ended up saving it as one of those files whose program to open it the computer doesn't know, and all the properties are still in the armband. If you have any spare time and if isn't too much trouble for you, could you make the mod instead, then post it on knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com. I know I must sound lazy or incompetent, but I think it'd be simpler and safer in your hands.

It's all right. :lookaround:

Let's see...Dorak's head is #80, so that means he's Commoner_Mal_Old_Black_01_C...

Oh, while I'm working on it, I actually had a Dorak disguise for some time. In fact, I had a hundred disguises, but I lost them all when my computer died. :(

Ah, here's an armband .uti...where's Commoner_Mal_Old_Black_01_C, though? Wow, that's a long name. :p

Ah, I found him. Hmm...I could have just opened it with K-GFF and changed it manually instead of looking through that gorram list, couldn't I? No matter.

The file is attached. Just use the cheat console or KSE to get it (item name is "dis_dorak"). Enjoy! :)
