Hi i have and an idea for a mod but can be hard mo make and i also have to tall you that i don`t known how to make mods but i can tell you one of my ideas so if some one likes this idea maybe he/she will make a mod. OK the thing is it will be cool if the main character(the one you create) starts as a student on a new planet with a big Jedi Academy and a lot of Jedi masters, but he/she can still have a choice to be a Sith becouse on another planet there is a big Sith Academy, so that means not strarting on paragus and make 2 new planets and i leave the res (quests, party members, new lightsabers .....) to the make of the mod. PLEASE tell me what do you think of my idea. Thanks in advance.:):):)
Like I said before, a huge mod like this will probably never be done on commission alone. You would either have to pay the modder, find a modder of considerable skill that is willing, or do it yourself.
If you want to do it yourself, then I suggest getting Fred Tetra's Kotor Tool and some modding tutorials.
Fred Tetra's Kotor Tool: Kotor Tool - A multifunction tool for modding Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I and II
Hope this helps.
THANKS:):):) so there i download the tools for modding but where can i find tutorials?
do i need kotor1 to use kotor tool (becouse kotor tool want something from kotor1) if i need kotor1 is there a place to download it???
To the first, there are many modding tutorials out there on the internet and depending on what you need, you'll have to sift through them.
Still, I can point you in the right direction. Here is one that a bit helpful.Inyri Forge is always helpful :).

Another you might want to check out is this one at Holowan Laboratories. This one is ONLY for KotOR so nothing for TSL.
Holowan Laboratories - LucasForums
The last one is at Filefront. I haven't looked through it myself, but I figure it must be good.
Knights of the Old Republic 2 Files - Modding Tutorials
Oh, and if your going to do modding, you'll need Gmax.
As for your second question, no. The KotOR Tool can be used for either TSL or KotOR 1.
Hope this helps!
You're very welcome, Bogi.;)
