I was looking through the .ini files and found an interesting set of lines.

This seems to be left in from the NWN engine, if it is then the rest of the online code may be left in, now if only i knew enough about modding to make use of this.

I think it would take more than flipping a few switches to make K2 online compatible. The game is simply not designed with that in mind. I assume they were just left in from NWN. There are several NWN 2das left in as well that, I assume, serve no purpose.
hmm, thanks, i'm going to go study up on the NWN engine and see what kind of stuff it would take, likely a new start menu would be one... if i find anything here its liable to end up here first as its the only modding site i can find.
I'm sorry but it is not possible to make kotor a multiplayer game. The engine is not built for it. You can't have more than one PC in a game. You see, for example when you turn 360 degrees then it is not you who turn, but it is the area surrounding you. And if more than one PC would turn in one area the area would tore itself apart, leading into a gamecrash. So you would have to create your own game that looks like kotor but supports multiplaying.
I was looking through the files and seen one talking about gamespy also
Wow.. I was just visiting to ask the very question.. Any work goin on with a possible multiplayer mod? Guess this answers that. Looks kinda doubtful, but I'll have to keep checking back.
Maybe it was something Obi-Ware inteneded to do but left out atfer our response because most players dont like Multi-player in KOTOR series until they finish of what I heard.
