3C-FD is a droid that is useable in the prologue of TSL. He helps T3-M4 repair the Ebon Hawk so it can dock at the Peragus Mining Facility. After that, he is no longer useable, and is discovered "broken beyond repair" in a storage locker. Personally, I would use 3C-FD over G0-T0 any day. It would be a nice addition. I'm sure a lot of people would rather have another utility droid than the floating trash compactor G0-T0. Some might rather have the other possible additions.

P.S. I had asked about making lightsaber forms to my PC earlier, but I haven't gotten a response from anyone. If anyone knows how to make lightsaber forms that you must learn from the jedi masters on the various planets available at the start (or cheated in on something like the save game editor a few minutes after you save your game :p), please let me know!

Another idea I have, would be to have an R2 looking utility droid to replace T3-M4. R2-D2 could be used, although a person who can model would have to do it.

I'm sure others would have thought of this already (I know I have)

The problem isn't so much the modeling (although i'm not very good at it) it's more with animations... or to be more precise the inability to add animations

It would look kinda dicky having a cool looking droid "float" along behind you, with laser bolts appearing magically out of it's chassis... :P

P.S. don't worry too much about the lack of responses, I've had several question go unanswered... I guess if someone knew the answer they'd pipe up??? (gently prods the general modding community) /poke

The "general modding community" doesn't use these particular forums, which is likely why you're not getting a great deal of answers. Most of the people that hang around here are also amateurs within the community which explains why a lot of the advice that is given tends to be inaccurate.
