Calling all modders:) Dr. Slim here and I need a lot of help please. I'm trying to start a mod focused around unique weapons and equipment for the main character, the Exile. So far I've built the models for a machete type short sword, and a heavy blaster model. Also I have a concept for body armor. But, I'm not getting anywhere with exporting these models (the machete and blaster) with gmax or 3ds max r7. Any tip, tricks or advice on how to get this ball moving forward would be appreciated.
I think this is the first time in history when someone requested a mod an actually had something to offer! I'm not a big genious on modeling, but its looking good so far!
Thanks! I've been thinking about this one for a couple of years and would like to make it a reality. So..... Any ideas on how to help out here?
I would offer to help you skin, but unfortunatley, I have no idea how to way confusing for me. But in the morning (Or 7 hours from now for me) There should be more people able to offer better then I can.
Are you good with drawing people? Character sketches and such? If I had some assistance with that, the most difficult part of my mod idea might be a bit easier to get assistance with.
I could give a shot at it. What needs to be drawn?
Basically real basic and simple storyboards for the movie cutscenes being redone. An example would be the intro for visa marr from the game was fairly weak. I would like to redo that scene, and give it some grit. along with others.
I could give it a shot but I don't know how my drawing is.

Very nice. I'll be sure to test this mod once it's done.:)

Sweet! Any help is really appreciated. Though I really do need a question answered. In GMAX I'm not getting the models to export at all. The picture that is provided in the tutorial for replacing pistol models, shows a modifier pane that I can't seem to find in GMAX. I'm probably not doing a step properly, but I can use some tips on this matter.
