Because I'm not allowed to post in the other thread I started:

I seem to have gotten the armour mod working in KotOR 1 - I downloaded the Segan Wyndh armour by Chainz.2da and edited the baseitems.2da entry to suit my armour. Now I'm trying to get the armour working in TSL by editing the Iotran Braceman Armour (same armour design). My reskin works perfectly, but the item file is causing some problems.

I've taken the Iotran armour and edited properties etc. for the bonuses. As I'm trying to change it so it doesn't restrict Force powers, I've tried editing the TSL baseitems.2da file, and I'm sure I've gotten it right. I use the KSE to edit my save file, and when I add the edited armour into the inventory, it shows "BadStrRef [random number]" instead of the item. I have no idea what's going on.

Here is the baseitems.2da entry. (1234 x 168 pixels)

Here is the result in the KSE when I add the armour. (912 x 631 pixels)

Also while on the subject, how do I include the character's name in the item file? I tried adding into the description, but it appears as when I look at the item in-game. I know it can be done because of the 's Armband item from the Harbinger.

It should just be . I'm looking at a mod of Shem's right now that I know works and that's just how he has it. Actually I'm not entirely sure it'll work in the description, but it should work in the name.

By doing a quick edit of the Armband, I've found that works. It also works as 's.

OK - I've discarded the original file and started editing the Iotran Braceman Armour again. It seems to be working alright so far.... but the main requisite is the removal of Force power restrictions. Unfortunately this thread doesn't indicate clearly what to do - I'm pretty sure it's an edit of baseitems.2da. Nothing I change seems to make a difference, possibly for the reason that any changes don't seem to register in the edited baseitems.2da file.

I also downloaded the Bao-Dur Charged Armour by Chainz.2da, and looked at the baseitems.2da included with that mod, but I can't see what new entry has been made in that file.

Another question: How do I include Stealth Mode in an item? The only way in TSL that I can see is to include the Force Camouflage feats, but that doesn't show the Stealth button on screen, and I believe that I still need to equip a Stealth Generator, despite the feat description saying otherwise. As for KotOR 1, I have no idea what to do.
