I love this game but I really hate what they did with the darkside look in this game. I have no real desire for my character to look like a mummy. Is there are way or a mod to get rid of these transitions and just keep your character looking like they do at the start? Haven't been able to find anything.

You could just edit the appearance.2da file, but that would probably cause some conflicts with certain mods. Your best bet would probably be to copy and paste the normal textures over the darkside textures.

If you don't want to learn to use KotOR Tool, I could probably do it when I get home tonight, depending on my homework and mood.

Well that would probably cause the most conflicts. The best bet is to rename apperance, portraits and heads.2da to specify new textures.

I just started using the Kotor Tool. I just needed to know where to look for the textures/portraits.

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

Go to ERF, Texture packs, tex_gui, then they're under po_*, where * is a lot of stuff. For your future reference, I figured this out in the portraits.2da file. You can learn a lot about the textures from the .2da files, located under BIF.

Well depending on how long you have been away, LOADS of people have started modding for KotOR and TSL.

Portraits: ERF>Texture packs>swpc_tex_gui.erf>P

Heads ERF>Texture packs>swpc_tex_tpa.erf>P or N

P= Playable Person e.g. Atton. N= Non Playable Person e.g. Vandar.
