Hello.

I was reading this and soon realized that it was for KOTOR I. Unfortunately, I only own KOTOR 2, and I am interested in beginning with reskinning. Unfortunately, the tutorial does not work as well for II as it does for I.

I was wondering if anyone could spare some time to help me figure out which texture belongs to what model. Redoing the skin with photoshop is no problem for me, it's just the part where I have to figure out which texture goes to what item.

For instance, I am looking for the texture for the Ossus Keeper Robe "a_robe_21". Following that tutorial I soon realized it wasn't going to work, considering that the texture file "PMBA08" didn't exist. I spent a good amount of time on google, and only met with frustration. Now I finally come to my last resort, here, in the hopes some kind person will help.

Thank you in advance.

Well, if you've gone through the game 5 times, like myself, you really know the details of each and every robe. ;D I can't really give you a better advice, I just do it on instinct, it always works ;) Just take a good look at ossus keeper robe in the game, then go through all skins using Fred Tetra's Kotor Tool, and you'll find the right robe. ;)

I suppose that's one way to do it, yes. But I don't really have a photographic memory, if you know what I mean. I mean, I'm an artist and all, but while working I always need a reference to base my art off.

I supposed I COULD take a screenshot and export and compare all of them, but as you know, most people prefer not to do long and tedious things.

Thank you for your suggestion, I will try it until I figure it out, or someone generously posts the information. Again, thank you. ^^

EDIT: If I do figure it out, I swear, I'm making an index for all corresponding textures to various models. Someone has to do it, and it'll make things easier for everyone.

"I only met with frustration" man, that's good. I mean, this has nothing to do with the topic, but you must have really thought about what you were going to say before you said it. I only met with frustration... man... that's good... I'll have to put it in a book or something.

I'm a word smith; words come to me and I use them. I also read many books that add to my vocabulary. Things like "I only met with frustration..." are things I type all the time.

Meh, Sith happens.

Now, does anyone have anything topic-related they'd like to add?
