I'm not sure if anyone brought this up, but if you don't remember, you run into a Bith on Nar-Shadaa who is trying to fix some type of radio transmitter (or something). He gives you five hundred credits and tells you to go talk to a Twi-lek, who you find dead on the floor at one of the pylon control rooms. Big droid attacks you, you field strip the Twi-lek, you go back to the Bith to give him the bad news, but there's nothing left but an arm... and a datapad. So I figured, "Well, now what?" This is something that always bothered me. Was it a pointless side quest, or will Team Gizka probably be restoring it?
It's a bit of a pointless side quest yes, but also no. Team Gizka will probably do some work on it, I assume. However, this quest is key in getting G0-T0 to crack during a later conversation about being a droid. You have to overwhelm him with evidence, and that quest is key. Cuz, his robots weren't made to kill, and when obviously, the droid (created by G0-T0) put on the market was meant not to kill, but I did murder the Bith. So the answer is yes and no.
Er...wasn't there a thread exactly like this 'bout a couple months back? Searching... Yup. http://forums.filefront.com/sw-kotor2-general-discussion/344611-expirement-delivery-bonus-mission.html
