JawaJedi;4938601Tread carefully, the mando-lovers are almost as strong as the Revanites.
And if they love Mandos, then they should realise it would be an injustice to them to have them as a single class.
They're just going to be an NPC faction that's allied with the Sith. The new Mandalore aligned them with the Sith.
Besides, Bioware has already said they won't be playable. The Bounty Hunter class story is centred around "The Great Hunt", and is Mandalorian in substance.
I'm not disagreeing with you, just warning you.
Sorry if it sounded like I thought you were disagreeing, I was just pointing out the idiocy of a Mando fan who wants to have Mandalorian as a single class.
mandalorians should have some place though, even if its just a guild or a sub class of bounty hunter.
does anyone know if bounty hunters can play as the republic, or are they just sith affiliates?
They are Sith Empire only.
Classes are faction specific.
The Mandalorians will be playing a part. They've been a big part of the timeline vids leading up to the Treaty of Coruscant (as narrated by Lance Henrikson).
So much so, that it took a group of Smugglers (Republic class) to break the Mando's blockade of the Outer Rim trade lane.
The Mandos had been leaderless and scattered (again) and a new Mandalore arose to lead them. Allied to the Sith, they helped hamstring the Republic until the afformentioned blockade and Smuggler intervention.
As for Mando & Bounty Hunter, part of the BH story is "The Great Hunt", which has a more Mando focus in it. Bounty Hunters won't be Mandalorian, but as said, their story is Mando related.

Well, the new timeline video pretty much sums it up for the Mandalorians, and their role in this game..
I'd choose the Republic, whatever class.I always supported the Republic
