:rofl:Oh, well, I'll be!! I've always been known for my "attacks" against Revan and his overestimated nature; fanboys have dogged me around since I set foot here for the first time. And the moment I give him the benefit of doubt, when I give him the chance to shine, a whole new generation of contributors goes and votes against him, oh my!! damned if you do, damned if you don't... Is there a third option? :uhm: I think Caedus would kick their colective ass... not because I like the character in any way, mind you, but because it was stated in Legacy of the Force Jacen was even more powerful than Darth Vader, and since that one was the so-called Chosen One, the Lucasian "most-powerful-Force-user-ever"... what does that say about Naga Sadow, Palpatine, Bane, or even Kraayt?? =p Is it me, or is the power-check in Star Wars growing even more unbalanced than it was back during the Marvel Comics run??

Bane may have learned a lot of things from Revan and got some of his power from it but i think Bane utilized it better than Revan did

Darth_Revan_1990;4737053What does being dangerously overrated have to do with the ability to win a War? Nothing. So we need to base the argument on Power, Knowledge, or Achievement alone. The Power of each Dark Lord is still relatively unknown so we can't use that to any great extent. The Knowledge of each is something that we could use. Revan wins here simply because of his Sith Holocron. It contained the only existing record of how to create a Thought Bomb, the most important factor in Bane's Rise to Power. For achievement Bane wins easily. He destroyed Kaan's pathetic Brotherhood Of Darkness and then wore the Sith like a glove.

So all of this begs many questions... At which point in time did this whole thing take place? Was it Bane that went back in time or was it Revan who went forward? Because if Revan went forward then Bane would have never found the Holocron and his achievement would be possibly non-existent unless he found some other way to destroy the Sith Lords which I doubt. Unfortunately it's too late to answer them all now as that would set up one of the two Characters for an instant defeat.

Anyway, for the lack of information that we currently have about the Characters and the Thread itself, I'd call the Battle of Revan and Bane a dead stalemate for now.[/quote] Still bane's recorded powers were far beyond revan's.bane is one of the greatest Sith lords ever, I doubt Revan is even in the top 10. And what recorded powers were those pray tell? Force Storm, Force Wave and Force Breach? You're gonna have to do better than that, Revan could learn all of those easily.

Do we have any proof of any of Revans powers because game powers dont count unless u have canonical evidence the powers in game can vary so they arent very reliable

Bane had an extremely powerful force storm that when it touched most people they died instantly and he could create force waves that broke bones and could devastate the land and he could feed on other peoples fear and anguish to give him life. Sow where is all of Revans "Great" powers that you say he has

Well, we know he could use Force Choke so that basically includes just about every other Telekinetic Force Power out there. (Wave and Throw Lightsaber etc.) He also knew some form of Force Lightning, as he is seen playing with it here. Image:Revancardbackbrighter.jpg - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki Note: This image is not Fanon, it comes from an official Lucas Approved Product.

The point is, Revan could learn all of the Powers we saw in KOTOR to their maximum extent plus he knew how to make a Thought Bomb and Gran said that Bane's powers were far beyond those of Revan's. Just like Revan's Canonical Face one of the choices is Canon. The same goes for the Force Powers.

just because he could doesnt mean he did and Bane knew how to make a thought bomb aswell and just because he could force choke doesnt mean he could do every other telekinetic power
