@ Jedijax

Thank you for summing up all my feelings on the Word of Lucas to a T.

The problem with G-Canon is that in just about every case where it enters into play it completely forgoes all common sense and logic just for the sake of making it's own characters Gods among Men and the only defense it has is pulling the 'Because I'm your Father and I said so!' card which plainly offers no reason as to why.

Just like you said, Darth Nihilus' Power could wipe out an entire Planet's Lifeforce and the only person in the entire Time Line of Star Wars that could defeat him was the Jedi Exile. That doesn't mean that the Jedi Exile was the most Powerful Force User of all time it just means that certain keys fit certain locks.

Merry Christmas all!

It was not a power!why don't you guys understand that?it was a curse! seriously, I used to think the same as you guys, the exact same but then Fyurii and Bane told me differently and actually explained in detail. yes Lucas' word is law, unfortunate in certain places it is but we have to accept it end of.

The Jedi Exile could only kill Nihilus because of the hole in the force. Imagine 2 magnets both being the same end, they do not connect and that is what happened when nihlus' curse tried to take the exile. Nihilus had the greatest problem that the power ate himself, he became weaker over time and as long as big force users kept running he would die. He could die of other means, get a big enough hit on him..heck he's gone...perhaps a force strom hitting him in mid space travel before he could concentrate on palpatine...I don't know maybe you think?

Granyaski, I don't know which Fyurii you speak of, as the Fyurii I know and have discussed extensively on the subject and I have pretty similar thoughts on this and many other matters. Indeed, Lucas has final word on anything Star Wars related, but he has no word over things he doesn't know, and Lucas knows nothing about Star Wars EU that goes long before and long after the movies. Don't believe me, check interviews with Sue Rostoni. Besides, even if his word is the highest canon, that doesn't mean it makes sense or other autors haven't challenged it succesfully. Finally, you keep being subjective. It has never been mentioned/stated officialy in any situation the peculiar Force-drain of Nihilus/The Jedi Exile is "a curse", such is your interpretation and opinion. Chris Avellone has final word on this, and even he has been somewhat elusive on the matter, merely hinting at it being a physical quality. Your "hole in the Force" explanation has no official support; it seems to me you haven't yet gone past the whole "Force-wound" and inherent nature of both Nihilus and the Jedi Exile. Several threads have dealt on this particular, and it is suggested in-game by Vrook and Vandar the Jedi Exile's unique ability to create Force-bonds draining individuals predates even the Mandalorian Wars. Nihilus and the Jedi Exile could counter each other because of this trait, not because of the "Force-wound", which only supports Avellone's original idea of them being the same person, as it is highly unlikely the Lord of Hunger "acquired" the very same Force-draining which no other character has ever had save for the Jedi Exile. The only way in which such could be denied would be for Nihilus to be revealed as being Zayne Carrick or some other yet-to-be-revealed character. On the other hand, I completely agree with Darth Revan 1990 when he states the Jedi Exile was not the most powerful Force-user ever, and her victory over Nihilus is more a matter of mechanics than power; in the most fair and logical sense, both are exactly the opposite of powerful, feeding on the power of others. This is why they are so dangerous, as it doesn't matter how powerful their opponent is, they will always use that very same power against them; and I am also leaving their influence by such Force-bond out of the equation, which goes beyond anything we have seen in Star Wars so far.

Care to explain how "game idols" are responsible for Yoda's existence? Or even Palpatine's history?

Otherwise, smells like bullshit.

@JediJax Nihilus' ability was a curse. It was basicly vampirism. Has to feed on the Force to live, or dies. Ysalimiri would certainly screw him, as much as they would screw other Force Users. Unfortunately he'd be worse off, since an Ysalimiri would make anyone else practically like the Exile.

Since his "essence" was bonded to his mask and armour, leaving him without a physical body, his vulnerability increases. Destroy his mask and armour, and he's like a fart in a jacuzzi - it dissipates into nothingness.

As for who wins...... Chuck Norris.
