DarthZipacna;4317862The Jedi Civil War? You mean the first one, right? Because KotOR I is set in the second one... I think I would play a Prequel if it would play in the days Jolee Bindo keeps telling us about but not a story we already know...

That's the Great Sith War. The KOTOR Jedi Civil War is the only one called that, but it certainly isn't the only one of its kind.

I definitely remember Kreia talking about the First Jedi Civil War, the one the old Lords fought in when they fled from their masters... Ajunta Pall and the others.

Those were the Force Wars of Tython, about 20,000 years before KOTOR. ;)

Nope. We don't know exactly which year the lords of the sith died but we DO know that Marka Ragnos died around 5,000 BBY (before the battle of Yavin). he was preceded by Tulak Hord, or Hord was at least one of the lords shortly before Ragnos. We also know that Pall was lord shortly before Hord, which makes it impossible for him to have fought 24,000 BBY...

Indeed, I think dates and titles may be a little off. The conflict J is refering to, in which Ajunta Pall and the first Dark Jedi were exiled from the Order and the Galactic Republic is known as the First Schism, and it led to the discovery of Ziost and Korriban, as well as the birth of the Dark Lords of the Sith. The Force Wars, however, are a much older conflict, prior to the foundation of the Jedi Order, between the followers fo the Ashla and the followers of the Bogan. The First Schism is set after the foundation of the Galactic Republic, whereas the Force Wars happened before, during the so-called Unification Wars. There is, however, confusion on this, since many chronists and scholars assume the conflict on Tython is the first known "Schism" of Force-users, and so call it the First Schism, regardless of the well known war between the Legions of Lettow led by Xendor, and an officialy established Jedi Order years later. However, the Force Wars and the First Jedi Schism are two separate conflicts.

As Jedijax says, the First Great Schism is set after the founding of the Republic. Ajunta Pall and the other Dark Jedi who were exiled, were a part of the Hundred-Year Darkness, which was a product of the Second Great Schism. These two events were approximately three thousand and fifty years before Ajunta Pall's redemption by Revan, circa 7,003BBY.

The first actual Jedi Civil War was not, as JCarter said, called the Jedi Civil War. This title is only used for the war that Revan started against the Republic, and his attempts to convert Jedi.

Back on topic..... Nah, so far the Star Wars universe has only suffered at the hands of prequels that deal with epic events that take place within the same century of the events it leads directly to.

Oh, that one...that wasn't the first "Jedi Civil War". That was the Second Great Schism (which would mean it's actually the third "Jedi Civil War" that we know of).

*looks up* Oh, I see we've figured everything out already. Never mind. :lookaround:

Well. I see. So most of you would not play a Great Sith War prequel. Ok cool. I can totally respect that. Would you play a game that involved you in the creation of the Jedi Order out of the many different disciplines of Force followers? Say, something like uniting the followers of Ashla and the Order of Dai Bendu? I apologize to you all. I am just such a Force nut that any chance I get to play a Jedi or Sith really appeals to me and I am always interested in playing different characters from different time periods, regardless of whether or not the history is known or canonized. I feel that the best way to gain perspective of what that character went through was to see the events unfold through their own eyes. That's pretty cool and exciting to me. That's why I'd like to play as Cay or Ulic Qel-Droma, Exar Kun, Marka Ragnos, Odan-Ur or any Jedi/Sith of that past, present or future. Long Live Star Wars.:bows:
