hi

I just bought this game today (kotor2) i played the first one on xbox and loved it. however, when i actualy went to play the game, moving up (by holding w) worked once... as soon as i collided with something i was stuck there, even though i was in a moving position, the only way i could move was to find an objective (the ebon hawk chair for example) double click and it would move me off.

Any ideas? How can i move probley?

(Ps, i have tried skipping the prolog, but my guy gets stuck at the first door)

Sounds like graphics settings/card. Try to put the graphics settings on minimum. If that doesn't work, you don't have enough RAM. If that's not the case, your graphics card need updating. If that's not it....... as far as my knowledge goes sorry :(

*exactly* I had this in the beginnig where I pushed my graphics a bit further than thzy could go. Then you see the compromise : either have nice graphics and have all these sticky prblems or lower them and it works fine now, buy lowering them you can still have a nice picture ... choose carefully *which* ones you lower and which you keep higher. I have mine in the lowest rzesoltion, 800x600 but it doesn't look that bad because antuialiasing and textures etc are all on highest. When I had the resolution on 1024x768 I had your exact same peoblem; lowed it, and no probs. Dan

yes i agree, i tried to put kotor 2 on my laptop with only 400 and something ram, and it was to slow, and if you try to move it goes for a little and then you just stop with the moving animation, its most definetly low ram, i think the least it wansts (RAM) is 512

I've had this problem when walking through any fumes I encounter in the game. For example, when I ran into the super-heated gas on Peragus, I couldn't move. But when I clicked on something like a corpse, my character moved just fine.
