ok, i got the game now, it works, how do you enter cheat codes? one of the sites says "Find the file called "swkotor2.ini" in your Knights of the Old Republic game folder. Edit the file with Notepad and under the line [Game Options] add the following line: EnableCheats=1" can someone put this into english and go more into detail please? my operating syestem is windows 7, 64 bit.

You can find the swkotor2.ini file at C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2. As for detail, the instructions you read truly are that simple. All you have to do is open it; it should automatically open with Notepad. After that, scroll down until you see [Game Options]. Directly under that, simply type EnableCheats=1, and then save the file. As for the cheats, I would strongly recommend using the Save Game Editor, which can be found here. It can do just about everything, and is much easier than using cheats.

With the Save Game Editor, you are correct. You will indeed need to quit your game before the Editor can have any effect. In addition, if you want anything you do with the Editor to save, you need to click on the button labeled, Apply Changes. To get to the swkotor2.ini file, open up My Computer. By default, there should be in icon on your desktop. If not, then you will find it in the start menu. After opening that, you will see an icon which looks very much like a hard drive. This is directing toward the Local Drive, which is drive “C.” This is the icon you want to click on. Within the new menu, click on the folder for Program Files. Next, click on the folder for LucasArts. Here, you will find the SWKotOR2 folder. Once inside, near the bottom is the file listed as the configuration settings. This is the swkotor2.ini file.

You only have to exit that particular Save Game, you can still be in the program when you are diting a Save Game with KSE. And do you mean that you get lost on how to work KSE?
