I finished Kotor2 3 times and this is my 4th time. I never had such problem before. (I don't have any mods) (My system is good enough to play the game in best options) (I'm using XP) (I finished the game 3 times in this computer after I reinstalled my OS this problem occured) Here is the problem: I'm currently on Nar Shaddaa, Goto captured me and Ubese bounty hunters killed Visquis right after this, Kreia saved Hanharr and talked to him. When these dialogs finish my character appears in front of the computer that controls the ventilation systems and suddenly the game crashes. I reloaded my saves, I reinstalled the game, I searched in the Internet for possible solutions but I couldn't find anything. ( Right now I only have 3 choices left If you can't help me; 1-Just forget the game. 2- Try to pass that part in another computer 3-Reinstall the OS.)

Hey there,

You mentioned this problem started to occur after you had reinstalled your OS. The cause of this could most likely be the drivers. Are you using different ones than you used to?

They are different because I update them once a mont but as long as they are up to date I don't think the problem occurs because of the drivers what do you think?

There are several occasions where 'newest' isn't always compatible. In other words; in most cases, newest drivers tend to cause problems with older games. Have you tried rolling back your driver (or in this case, just download an older version) and see if that fixes your problem?

OK, I'm erasing the newest update to see what will happen.

Unfortunately nothing changed it still crashes :(

I tried to open it in my friend's computer and I failed again. (my graphic card is nvidia and his was ATI) Can this happen because my graphic card is too good for this game?

I'm not quite sure if it depends on whether only your GPU is too good or not. I believe it depends on your gaming rig in general. But yes, there were several occasions where the computers of some people were 'too good' for the older games, such being JKA, KotOR/KotORII, etc.

Have you tried playing the game on a system that has lower specifications?

That came into my mind as well, right now I'm searching for a computer that has a lower system.

I tried it on a computer which is 5 years old but it crashed once again... I guess I won't be able to solve it after all.

Ok, so, I just got Star Wars: KotOR II for x-box, and I'm playing it on my 360. I'm on Nar Shaddaa, and cant get Visquis to invite me to Jekk Jekk. I looked at the walkthrough on gamebanshee, and it said that after I kill the Red Eclipse Slavers and their leader, inside the Ebon Hawk, that once I leave the Ebob Hawk, Visquis will invite me to Jekk Jekk.

Well, I've defeated the Red Eclipse Slavers and their leader, and left the Ebon Hawk. But nothing happened. So, I went around doing all the side missions I could, but in all that time, I got no word from Visquis. Someone told me there is a guy that I can pay 2000 credits to tell the exchange about me, but I havn't been able to find such a guy.

So: 1) Is there a guy I can pay to tell The Exchange about me? If so, where can I find him. 2) Is there anything else I can do to get Visquis to invite me to Jekk Jekk? 3) Or, do I need go back to a prior save point so I can kill the Red Eclipse Slavers again?

I'd much rather stay away from option #3 cause I did a bunch of side missions after I defeated the Red Eclipse Slavers...

Any Help would be great, if I dont get an answer in an hr or so, I'm just going to go back to a save point and see if it helps.

Thanks in Advance =)
