While I have played this game and the error poped up about 3 or 4 times, I finally beat KOTOR 2. but for some reason now the error pops up every time I click Play from the Launcher. I had two characters saved and never used any mods, I tried the cheats thing for this game but since then it doesn't seem to work, I'm sure I entered it in the right place abd I tried to erase it and play, but I keep getting "Swkotor2 has caused an error in Swkotor2 will now close" Any help would be appreciated. -Thanks for Reading

What operating system are you using?

Windows XP, Vista? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

Ace_NT;4810863I tried to erase it and play

What do you mean by that? Do you mean you reinstalled the game? Is your copy of the game legal or pirated in any way?

On the KOTOR 2 filefront home page they have a cheats link to the left, I clicked on it and it gives you some directions, when I tried to type "Enable Cheats=1" (without quotes) in the file and tried to play the game, the error (listed above) poped up and kept on. Then I decided to try and erase the "Enable Cheats=1" but the error still keeps popping up right before the game starts (When you click play and the screen goes black and then shows you the Lucas arts logo, etc. Right before the lucas arts logo the error goes and then I'm sent back to my normal computer screen) and I can't play the game. I unistalled and reinstalled the game, never downloaded anything for the game, and I bought it at a store so I'm pretty sure it's legal

Right, so. I haven't heard of this error before. Are all of your 'base' files still intact - or have you removed any executable file accidentally? Have you got the latest version? Have you tried playing the game, via the direct swkotor2.exe file, instead of the launcher?
