The other day, I installed a mod, and I don't guess I installed it right because it only overrid my other file. So I couldn't play the game at all. I uninstalled so it would return to normal settings. It unistalled fine, but when I tried to reinstall it, it said: "Feature: DefaultFeature Component: DefaultEN File: D:\KOTOR\data8.cab Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)." I have no idea what it means, much less how to fix it. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(and yes, I know I also posted this on K1 forums, but the same thing happened with this game.... I know...stupid me...)

What mod was that? I'd recommend not bothering with it as it stands but let's hear what it is just in case......
It was my fault, not the mod creator's. I didn't download it right... I'm new to modding, and downloading mods....:lookaround:
I had the disc cleaned, and now the first game works, but TSL still doens't. So should I buy a new game?

did you clean the tsl disks too? or did you just clean the kotor 1 discs? if you didn't clean the tsl disks, try doing that and reinstalling tsl, if that doesn't work then i'd recomend getting a new game
UPDATE: I found a folder that hadn't been deleted when I uninstalled it, and I deleted it, so now my game works!!!!!:p:rofl:laughing with relief
