Hello again everyone! I am here again to lay my laments and sorrows at your feet and pray you bless me with a shower of undiluted wisdom! This time around, my game issue is a most perplexing one; less of a show-stopper then a polluter of the in-game story experience. My game has been working perfectly fine since I reinstalled my mods and started a new file, and I've been most happy with the additions to the game they make. However, when I reached the surface of Telos; aka the Telos Restoration Zone, lo and behold, in the first group of mercenaries you encounter, the regular mercs had been replaced with Zuka, the Mandalorian mechanic! I thought to myself, "Fiddlesticks! It had all been working so well!" I would like any and all thoughts about how this could occur, whether it be a confliction of mods, a need for this or another patch, or even a cosmic realignment which has left the Zodiac forming a fist with middle finger upraised and spelling the words "Jog on!" I have searched this forum and a number of other places, and found two occurences of this same mishap befalling other poor individuals, but I saw no kernels of wisdom, not even a corn shuck of good advice, as to a possible explanation or solution! So my fellows, post on I say, and thank you for reading this downtrodden sap's story!

Certain mods are conflicting with eachother, most likely. Did you check for any incompatiblities?

Thanks for replying! Yes, I did check, and going down through the list of mods I have installed, all are said by the modder to have no known incompatabilities or bugs. I'm also wondering how such a strange thing as the mercenaries being replaced by Zuka of all people comes about! I mean, I only have one mod that even affects anything Mandalorian-related at all, and since my save exists right before I enter the shuttle for the Telos surface, I have tried removing that specific mod and then reloading the save, to no avail. Zuka is still there! It just seems strange that a potential incompatability could cause such a strange occurance, as it doesn't seem to be related to anything I have installed. A listing of my mods are: 1. Movie Style Dark Side Transitions (TSL) by Shem 2. Darth Sion Versus Master Vash Scene by zbyl2 3. New Work Bench Upgrades (1.5) by Eagleracer38x 4. Droid Enhancement by ElecManEXE 5. Revenge of the Sith (2.1) by obiwan3001 6. Realistic Visual Effects (TSL) by Shem 7. Enhanced Merchants for TSL by Shem 8. Feat Progression for TSL by Shem 9. Force Powers Feat Gain for TSL by Shem 10. Prequel Sabers [For TSL] (2.0) by Shem 11. Sith Assassins - With Lightsabers by Shem 12. Darth Sion Re-Skinned by Shem 13. Assassin to Dark Jedi Conversion by Prime If there's anything else I can do that would help to shed light on my predicament, please let me know! I'm very willing to delete my mods and start a new file over again once I reinstall them, but I'd like to know that they'll all be compatible so I won't have some strange hoodoo-voodoo witch doctor dancing the Hakka when I try to play. Thanks for reading and replying!

Hmm, I can recognize any incompatible mods in your list, as most are of Shem. And an author will less likely make mods that conflict with eachother.

Sorry, but I can't help you here. :(

Doh! Well, thanks for trying anyways, it's always appreciated when someone goes out of their way to try and help. I think I'll just continue with my game, and if any more discrepancies poke their ugly, malformed heads, I'll wipe the mod slate clean and start from square one with a new selection of mods. The only possible incompatability that I could even see are Shem's Sith Assassins - With Lightsabers mod and the Assassins to Dark Jedi mod, but under the comments of the latter, I saw someone ask the same question about compatability and a poster mentioned that they were compatible. So it seems I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place for now!

Well, here I am again. I just checked, and the large mercenary group near the water also contains several mercenaries-turned-Zuka, so I deleted my file, and I'm going to wipe my mods clean and start anew. I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone has something to say about fixing such an issue, because I'd rather not run into it a second time around. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

You're welcome. Also, just FYI, if you remove the mods, don't forget to start a new game/save, or the changes won't be visible!

Yep yep, that's why I mentioned I deleted my character's profile, so that I would start a clean slate, with new mods and a new character.

For future reference, if any of those mods affect appearance.2da then I would recommend you consider them as the culprit. I would not be surprised if one of the mods altered something incorrectly, or altered something it shouldn't have.

Merry Christmas! Don't mind me as I frantically dust my shabby coat, straighten my cap, and rake my hair with my fingers to make myself presentable. Because INYRI decided to answer me! I feel so special now! So you think a mod affecting a .2da file might be responsible? I'm no computer Jedi, but I know that several of them do such, through that TSL patcher device or whatever it's called, so perhaps you're right! Now the trick is to figure out which one, so I don't remove all my mods unneccessarily. Thanks again for posting!
