So just for curiosity i thought i'd ask you all a question. hopefully we can spawn an educated discussion.:rofl::lol: As for myself, i currently play two armies. My Eldar army is an Ulthwe list (although I don't really plan to paint them too much; have you seen how detailed these things are supposed to be!?).:Puzzled: My Space MArine army is a custom chapter known as the Death Knights. The story goes that long ago, about the 32nd millenium, our Primarch (an Ultramarines Captain) and an Apothecary found a way to, by manipulating the Progenoid Glands, "resurrect" dead marines. This, of course, was seen as a heresy, so they left and founded thweir own chapter. Over the millenia, our chapter has developed a different interpretation of the Emmperor's Teachings than most; sort of like how different Christian sects interpret the Bible differently. We continue the Emperor's Great Crusade, conquering worlds and adding them to our own "mini-imperium" called simply The Realm. These world s are turned into models of Imperial planets, with teeming cities, mighty factories and other cool things. :deal: The chapter is quite large, consisting of 11 Companies of about 200-250 marines each. Thesse men are a mix of Veterans, Terminators, socuts, etc. This is because many marines who die are brpought bakc by the resurection, and because long ago the Primarch, in his hatrwed of the Ultramartines who rejected him, swore never to follow the Codex Astartes. These companies have proportionately large numbers of vehicles, since our infantry's resurection ability allows us extra manpower for tanks while the infantry can each fight as well as many marines from other chapters. We also have our own regiments of Imperial Guard, alhough theior lack of genetic enhancement doesn't allow us to resurect them. They are primarily used to support the Marines in battle with Basilisks and other long-range units. We also have a small Imperial Navy fleet along with our space marine vessels, which constantly patrol the dozens of worlds in The Realm to ensure their safety. In recent years we have also begun researching into technologiews thought to be blasphemous; indeed, our chapter has mastered the secrets of making Terminator Armor, for wihtout this ability we would have no terminators! I hope you enjoyed this, or at least didn't get bored to death. If you skimmed this and are only reading this part, don't be afraid to read the long part.
What if I want to drink more than four times? Huh? Besides, what if smilyman bob just can't hold his booze? Anyway, to stay true to the original topic, I have a custom army, the Imperial Wyverns Space Marine Chapter.
Huh, apparently a lot of people here are post&run psople. Comment smake everyting funnernesslyificion! I think...
Don't own an army but would like to. In the mean time I just like the whole fantasy.
I have my custom Chapter "Sons of Malic" Ill see if i can find there fluff later though. The Sons of Malic The Sons of Malic are a ancient chapter Stretching back to when the Imperium formed the second founding. The chapter is a strong, noble army ready to destroy the enemies of the Imperium. Origins Not much is known about the Sons of Malic background over than that they were founded during the siege of the Emperor’s palace. They started off as a small group of warriors form a mix of the loyalist legions. The members of this group swore an oath to the Emperor to destroy the mightiest foes in single combat. After the siege of the palace and upon hearing the news that the Emperor had been mortally wounded they swore a new oath to destroy chaos everywhere it laid. All its known that a champion form the Imperial fists chapter named Malic was to forum a new chapter by the orders of Rogal Dorn , Thus Sons of Malic where born. Gene-seed The chapter’s gene-seed is actually a mix of the different legions that joined the oath but the most common gene is Imperial fist. This means certain marines however are affected in different ways; some marines who have the Imperial fist gene have limitations to there other brothers who would have another gene. Home world The Sons of Malic do not have a home world however they have a mighty fleet which there main capital ship is home to chapter. On this ship known as “Emperor’s justice” is the history of there chapter, great feast halls, mighty training areas. The whole ship has a Roman feel to it. Emperor’s Justice stretches wide as a planet and holds a great population of humans which the Sons of Malic use for future marines. Founding The Sons of Malic do not use the second founding codex but instead follow those of the great crusade they are not restricted by the Imperium laws and there human populations are the most free in the Galaxy because they have kept with post heresy laws and orders. Malic saw the new rules the Imperium had set had been out of fear not for the people. The Chapters companies hold around one thousand strong each holding above average equipment and support units. The best of these warriors in these companies are brought to eleven companies which holds two hundred strong with a pure terminator company and tank support. However it has come to resent questioning of the Inquisition at such high number of marines in the chapter. Although the Inquisition would not risk attacking this chapter for they could poses a great threat if they would be made heretics. Regiments are at support of the Sons of Malic, they are giving the best equipment. Recent studies into these regiments show they are giving great enhancers being almost equal to a scout space marine. These implants are made to the whole population. Its price to pay for such freedom however and those who refuse this ‘honor’ are shown as weak and made into servitors. The Imperium tanks are also mixed with Space marine and Guard although they are kept secret when Inquisition inspect the regiments. War honors The fleet is always kept into one big block. The sons of Malic have carved a great Empire for there self’s making great cities and brining new freedom to the planets they conquer. However Imperial regiments are kept on the planet to secure it and also parts of the Sons of Malic population of humans are sent to civilize the planet with there culture and teachings. Many of the planets taken are ones form Ork Empires and Tau some even Eldar. The most remembered campaign was that against a Tyranid fleet it was many years of fighting before the system was taken back by the Imperium. It was bloody and bitter losing many great brothers and the utter destruction of 5th Company. This company is slowly being rebuild by the chapter but its honor of its previous warriors will always be remembered. Recruitment When the Sons of Malic recruit they look for the best of there human population to bring forth to there Chaplin’s. These children are put under great trails and put into the Emperor’s justice great training rooms. Each room is as wide as a continent each with custom weather systems. In here they must pass great trails of oath and loyalty not many of the recruits survive the tests (Even with the enhancers). The trails normally consist of brute strength and how far a human would go to join the ranks of the marines. Even if they do survive the trails they then need to live in most hostile locations to prove there worth for many years at a time without any contact with humans. Once recruited to the Sons of Malic the brother must swear a oath to destroy chaos were it lies, uphold the holy order and challenge the mightiest opponents. Anyone else got their storys?.
Wow, that was cool, although spelling was off a lot. But, meh, it's online, so who cares?
Also, how does a room the size of a continent fit into a ship?
Yeah i am Dylsexic so the grammer and spelling is bad. This was done 4:00am in the morning as well :)

Some people have jobs, and can't post all the time. But anyway. . . Wait, you actualy want to hear about my army? Someone cares? Well, to start out, I liked the Sons Of Malic, even though they reminded me of the Black Templar. It's the massive size of there Chapter that made me form the link, other than that it was solid. The multiple leigons' geen-seed thing was cool too. You said Imperial Fists, but what are the others?
Well all the loyalist legions form Terra during the seige so that would be Imperial fists, Blood angles, White scars and i think there was another legion cant think of the name. Yeah i say that during the seige a pack of warriors make a Lodge/oath so this at the time was about maybe 50-100 people in the oath and after the seige Rogal Dorn trusted his commander Malic to make a new chapter. So he made the Sons of Malic and making the lodge/oath into a chapter.
Oath, not a lodge, read the HH books and you'll realise that lodges are dogey business.
